In "Welcome to the Dreamhouse!", the Roberts and her family move into their new Dreamhouse. George forgets to tell the Reardons that they were moving, so the Reardons have the Roberts' moving van towed. The Dreamhouse start malfunctioning, so Skipper suspects that the Reardons have hacked the house. Skipper and Barbie spy on the Reardons and conclude that they're not smart enough to hack the Dreamhouse. It turns out the house was malfunctioning because a squirrel chewed the wires in the house's access panel, and the squirrel ends up getting into the Reardon's yard and scaring them.

In "The Great Pioneer Adventure", the Roberts spend the weekend living without technology. They camp in their backyard, and Barbie does a rooster impression to wake everyone up the next day. Whittaker Reardon throws a ball at Barbie, thinking there is really a farm animal in their residential neighborhood. Barbie and Skipper have to make an emergency trip, so they use a horse named Misty. Misty jumps into the Reardon's backyard, alarming Whittaker and Poppy.

In "Picture Perfect Cake", Barbie enters a robotics competition at Robot Con. It takes place the same weekend as her parents' 20th anniversary. Barbie makes a surprise cake for their anniversary party and then goes to Robot Con. Skipper plans the anniversary party at the Dreamhouse, and accidentally ruins Barbie's cake. Poppy and Whittaker come over to complain about the noise. They stay out of politeness and try to look at the surprise cake. Chelsea tries to distract the Reardons from the ruined cake, so they hide in the Dreamhouse elevator. The Reardons leave while everyone is looking at the cake.

In "The Roof Fairy", Chelsea tells Barbie about a the Roof Fairy. Barbie says she isn't real, and then feels guilty, so she tries to bring the Roof Fairy to life for Chelsea. Barbie, Skipper and Stacie dress Ken up as the Roof Fairy, and tell him to go on the roof. The Reardons see Ken in some bushes near the Dreamhouse, and try to call the police. Trey recognizes Ken and laughs and takes photos of him.

Season 2[]

In "Balancing Act", Barbie and George try to think of a father-daughter tradition they can have. George suggests the Malibu Father-Daughter Swing Dancing Contest. Barbie notes that Poppy and Whittaker judge the contest, so they would be biased against Barbie and George and give them low scores.

In "Trey Is for Horses", Trey's parents want him to prepare for a tennis tournament. Barbie and Stacie find out that the Reardons' horse, Duchess, is going to be sold. Barbie and Stacie hope that if Trey rides Duchess, then his parents will be impressed and won't want to sell her. Trey agrees to ride Duchess if Barbie is his partner at a tournament. Trey wants to ride Misty, but his parents are uninterested. Barbie feels bad for Trey after seeing how his parents treat him. Barbie and Stacie teach Trey how to dance with Duchess, and he stands up to his parents and refuses to sell her. They respect him for standing up for himself, and let Duchess stay at the stables.

In "Putts for Pups", Chelsea wants to teach puppies how to read, but she doesn't have money to buy them books. Chelsea decides to hold a mini golf charity event to get book donations to start the first ever puppy library. Barbie and Ken help her to set up the mini golf course. They want to put the 9 holes in front of the 9 houses in the neighborhood, but the Reardons don't want anyone on their lawn. Barbie tries to get Trey to persuade his parents by giving him food and doing some of his chores. Trey doesn't help, so Ken and Barbie help Chelsea complete the tournament without stepping on the Reardons' lawn. Whittaker forgets himself and cheers for Chelsea, which annoys Poppy. Poppy and Whittaker make Trey mow the backyard.

Season 3[]

In "Virtually Famous", Barbie gets "vlogger's block" and needs help thinking of vlog ideas. Her friends help her to film a vlog, and it goes viral. Teresa becomes obsessed with making more viral videos. Barbie finds it hard to be honest that she's not having fun chasing internet fame. Barbie eventually tells Teresa the truth, and they film a lip dub video with everyone, including the Reardons. The puppies chase the Reardons when the video is done.

In "All Dogs Go to the Beach", Trey takes photos of his parents at the beach so they can show off their luxurious lifestyle. Some dogs disturb them, so Poppy uses her connections to ban dogs from the beach. Barbie and Nikki are unhappy about the dog ban, so Nikki runs for office with Barbie as her campaign manager. Poppy becomes Nikki's opponent and Poppy wins by one point after Whittaker helps her to campaign and Trey helps her to sabotage Nikki's campaign. However, Poppy is overheard insulting the voters. To avoid a recall election, Poppy pretends to love dogs and reverses the dog ban.

In "Room Swap", the Reardons are having an addition to their house. The loud construction disturbs Barbie and also some ants. Whittaker tells Poppy that he hopes the construction will be over soon, and she yelps. Chelsea lures the ants to the Dreamhouse, causing an infestation after she feeds them sugar. The Roberts call Bruno Romanoff, who runs a humane repellent service. He sends the ants "home" to the Reardons. Poppy yells at Whittaker to do something about the ants.

In "Totally Spying", the Reardons get the Roberts' mail, including a notice that says if they don't file the Dreamhouse blueprints by the next day, they could be forced to move. Whittaker resents how cheerful and fun-loving the Roberts are. Poppy tells Trey to steal the blueprints so they can make the Roberts move far away. Trey pretends to get injured by Stacie's skateboard while his parents are away, so the Roberts take care of him. Barbie and her family keep up with his demands while he tries to discreetly steal the blueprints. Poppy keeps checking on Trey over the phone. In the background of their calls, Whittaker keeps getting injured, but Poppy doesn't care. Trey gets the blueprints, but after getting overwhelmed by the Roberts' care, he confesses to the Roberts that he lied about being injured, and also admits he liked spending time with them because they are different to his parents. He has Rookie secretly put the blueprints back, and the Roberts never find out about Poppy's plan.

In "A Dog's Day in Court", Nikki is at the Dreamhouse getting help with her pet business. Some dogs run over to the Reardons and give Trey fleas. This inspires a plan by Poppy to make the Roberts move away. The Reardons release fleas in the neighborhood and cause a 3-mile wide flea infestation. While the houses are being fumigated, there is an official city order that there can be no animals on the premises. Poppy rents several animals and has them delivered to the Dreamhouse. An animal inspector checks the Dreamhouse, sees the animals, and says the Roberts have the right to appear before the city council and plead their case. Whittaker watches in court. Barbie finds a animal rental receipt and a witness (the person who delivered the animals) to prove that Poppy is to blame. Poppy resigns from the city council and the Roberts are saved from being evicted.

It Takes Two[]

In "Festival Fiasco", the Roberts enter the annual Chilli Cook-Off at the California Music & Food Festival. The Reardons have won 3 years running. The Reardons drive to the festival early. George puts his secret ingredient blend in a jar, but accidentally leaves it at home. Malibu and Brooklyn are performing at the festival and left after the rest of Malibu's family, so Margaret asks Malibu to go home and get the jar. The Reardons spy on the Roberts and think they have no chance of winning without their secret ingredient. Malibu and Brooklyn get the jar to George in time and he uses it to win the Chilli Cook-Off. George taunts Whittaker, so Whittaker is furious. The Reardons watch The Barbies perform and Trey can't resist dancing, but he stops when Poppy and Whittaker glare at him.

A Touch of Magic[]

In "When Barbie Met Peggy", The Reardons move to a different house nearby. Whittaker tells the moving men to be careful with the furniture. Poppy says moving is exhausting while she hands Whittaker her shoes to put in a box. She asks for each shoe to go in a separate box. Whittaker obediently follows her orders. Later, Brooklyn's family moves into the Reardons' old house.

In "Finding Home", Poppy tells Whittaker to film her picking up the sale sign from their old house. Poppy says it would be good for their reality TV show audition. Kelvin says he loves the new house and Simone asks if the Reardons will be at a barbecue Ken's family is hosting later. Poppy replies that they moved to avoid things like that. Poppy asks Whittaker to film her driving out of their old driveway. Whittaker asks how he will get home if she takes the car, so Kelvin reminds Whittaker that he only moved two houses away from where the car is. Poppy gets in the car and a ball controlled by Peggy floats into it. Peggy knocks down Whittaker while chasing the ball.

In "Barbie, You Can Drive My Car", Whittaker and Poppy go to the selfie museum. On the way there, Whittaker makes sure Poppy is safe while posing for a selfie by the road. At the selfie museum, Whittaker complains about the customer service of Rocki the Glyph, who works there. Whittaker offers to take Poppy's picture for her, but she declines. Whittaker looks sad. When Poppy is done taking selfies, Whittaker pays in cash since Rocki doesn't know how to process card payments.

In "Ken One and Ken Two", Trey invites Brooklyn and Malibu to the Reardons' housewarming party. He only invites Malibu because his parents told him to. He says his parents want him to make new friends and show off to old friends.

In "Skate to Me, Barbie", Whittaker and Poppy attend Simone and Kelvin's anniversary party. Whittaker and Poppy smile when Brooklyn gives her present to her parents.
