The Tannenbaum Inn is a location in Barbie: A Perfect Christmas. Located in Rochester, Minnesota, the inn is owned by Christie Clauson, and she works there with the Elif family. "Tannenbaum" is German for "fir tree", also known as a Christmas tree.
Story[]
Barbie and her younger sisters, Skipper, Stacie and Chelsea get stranded in Rochester, Minnesota after their plane to New York is forced to land due to snowstorms. They find the Tannenbaum Inn and meet Christie Clauson and the Elifs. Barbie and her sisters are in awe of all the Christmas decorations. Christie and the Elifs decorate the inn for Christmas every year. Barbie and her sisters help Christie and the Elifs to wrap presents.
Chelsea thinks the inn is Santa's workshop. Christie agrees that it is one of Santa's workshops because people gather there to bring Christmas to others. The toys that were wrapped will be part of an annual toy drive, and they will be distributed by Christie's uncle.
Christie lets Barbie and her sisters stay in the best room in the house for the night. The next day, the girls see that the inn employees are training shelter dogs. Christie explains that the every year, several dogs are picked to play Santa's reindeer in order to showcase the dogs, and so the dogs always get adopted. Skipper wants to have a concert at the inn. Christie agrees and says Skipper can rehearse in the basement. Christie and the Elifs try to help Skipper arrange the concert, but Skipper wants to do everything herself. While the concert is being set up outside the inn, the dogs run amok and ruin everything. The concert ends up happening at the barn instead
