A sprite is a type of creature in Barbie: Star Light Adventure. Two of them appear, and they have the ability to fly.
Story[]
The sprites live on Opa-Irri. They seem to act as general helpers and are first seen when they knock on Barbie's door to let her know about the welcome ball. They show her a map of the palace and tell her the rules. They seem to be strict and slightly judgemental.
At the welcome ball, Sheena and Kareena prank the sprites when Kareena makes a bubble of punch float above one of their heads, and Sheena lets it drop. The afflicted sprite assumes the other is responsible and dumps her bowl of food on her head.
Later, Barbie asks the sprites for help to make Pupcorn fly again following his transformation.
They are last seen controlling one of the spotlights during the final ball scene.
Appearance[]
The two sprites who appear throughout the course of Star Light Adventure both have pale skin, rounded faces and petite bodies. One has dark purple hair, and wears a teal and pink dress paired with teal boots and ornamented with silver accents. The other has orange and pink striped hair and a yellow peplum top. She wears a pink pencil skirt and pink boots. She too has silver accents.
