The Spirit of Christmas Past is a supporting character in Barbie in A Christmas Carol. She visits Eden Starling on Christmas Eve to help her learn the error of her ways. She is shown as the most cheerful and excitable of the spirits, partially because she is Eden's biggest fan. The spirit's singing voice is by Leanne Araya, and her speaking voice is by Tabitha St. Germain.

Story

When Christmas Past saw Eden, she immediately shouted and screamed. As she got a little bit crazy, she even gave Chuzzlewit a cute little face, calling Chuzzie "kooci-wooci-boo". When the Christmas Past drags Eden to the portal, Chuzzelwit wanted to stop Eden from going into the portal, but the Spirit of Christmas past made a mistake, and she thought that Chuzzlewit wanted to come along. Inside the portal, they talked and chatted, and the Spirit of Christmas Past confessed that she is Eden's biggest fan. When she arrived, she didn't know that it is Aunt Marie's house, because she didn't see Eden when she was a poor kid. Aunt Marie told her to practice her singing.

As Eden rode her sled as she saw her Aunt was asleep when she was singing, they flew and flew, and the Spirit of Christmas Past was overjoyed. Young Eden arrived at Catherine's house, and they had a fantastic party. Eden (adult) said it was just kid's stuff when the Spirit of Christmas Past disagrees. Eden told the Spirit of Christmas Past when the door is knocked to go back to the present time. The spirit didn't want to, and when Catherine's mother opened the door, Aunt Marie got mad (Angry).

Eden and the Spirit of Christmas Past immediately came home. But after Eden seemed to change for the better, she quickly changed back and said that her Aunt Marie had raised her to be a star. Eden opened her eyes to see if the Spirit was still there, but she wasn't, so Eden went back to sleep, saying it was a dream. When the snow sled was moving, the sled itself got stuck in the snow, so the three spirits sang the song, and they made a new sled that can get through the snow. This way, they can proceed to go to Catherine's house.

Physical Appearance

The Spirit of Christmas Past has long white hair tied in a ponytail, wearing a sparkly silver-white headband. Her eyes are blue, and her ears are pointy. She wears a dress with a flared-out skirt.

Personality

The Spirit of Christmas Past is the first one to show Eden her past. The Spirit of Christmas Past is cheerful, happy, and joyful, maybe because she is Eden's biggest fan ever. She is not very serious. The Spirit of Christmas Past tends to be caring. She cares if something bad happened when she saw Eden's past. Because of this incident, she felt guilty, leaving her alone to make her feel better. Also, she was quite fond of Eden's cat, Chuzzlewit.
