Sloane is a character in Barbie in Rock 'n Royals. She is voiced by Ingrid Nilson. Sloane is talented music star who attends Camp Pop, and she plays the guitar.

Story

Sloane was mean to Princess Courtney when she arrived at Camp Pop by accident. Other campers helped Courtney to go to the office to explain how she was meant to be at Camp Royalty, but Courtney had to stay at Camp Pop. Later on, when Sloane heard Courtney rehearsing for the sing-off between the two camps, Sloane was annoyed with her for not practicing the chosen song. She told Courtney that she didn't belong at Camp Pop, which made Courtney consider leaving. Courtney decided against it and she later performed at the sing-off with Sloane.

Personality

Sloane is very talented but also very grumpy. She becomes more friendly as time goes on.

Physical Appearance

Sloane has pale skin and green eyes. She has her dark brown and pink hair in a bun. She wears a black necklace, a black t-shirt with a square neck, and a red ribbon attached to it with a safety pin. She also wears a plaid Scottish skirt, red leggings, and black boots. In the books, she is described as "the punk-styled girl".

Trivia

• The name "Sloane" is a Gaelic name. The meaning is "warrior".
• Her physical appearance is probably inspired by Canadian singer-songwriter Skye Sweetnam, who provided Barbie's singing voice in The Barbie Diaries in 2006. Sloane's appearance looks similar to Skye's in the music video for her song Music is My Boyfriend which is from her 2007 album Sound Soldier. The similarities are her hair color, her eye color, her skirt, and her makeup.
