Skipper Roberts is a character in Barbie: Princess Adventure. She is voiced by Kirsten Day. Skipper is a high school student who lives in a dreamhouse in Malibu, California. She lives with her parents, sisters, and their pets.
Story[]
While Barbie films a music video for her song "Try It On", Skipper and Stacie play with Skipper's new laser swords. Chelsea wanted to play dress-up, but Skipper and Stacie told Chelsea that dress-up is for babies. Their dad, George tells Skipper and Stacie that it wasn't nice to say that. Skipper distracts Stacie, and she wins the sword fight.
Chelsea wants to join in as a laser pirate princess. Skipper says that's unrealistic, but Barbie encourages Chelsea to be whatever she wants. Then, Stacie asks what you can do if you don't know what you want to be. Chelsea says if you don't know what you want to be, you can try new things. This inspires Barbie to write the chorus for "Try It On", and Skipper is featured in the music video.
Barbie gets chosen to go on a field trip to Floravia, and Skipper hears about it and asks Barbie when she's leaving. As Barbie says she's leaving soon, she gets a phone call from Rose Ross. Skipper gets excited because she knows Rose is the biggest online content aggregator in the world.
Rose wants to work with Barbie, and Skipper encourages Barbie not to give up this opportunity. Barbie agrees, and Skipper high-fives her. When Barbie leaves to go to Floravia, Skipper and the rest of the family see Barbie off at the airport. Skipper and the family bring their puppies with them to say goodbye to Barbie. Skipper says she is jealous of Barbie getting to go to Floravia.
Taffy runs after Barbie when she goes to board her plane. Skipper's puppy DJ runs after Taffy, so Stacie chases her. Skipper manages to catch DJ. During Barbie's field trip, the princess of Floravia, Amelia is crowned queen, so everyone there celebrates. They do a live stream of the celebration, and Skipper dances at home while watching it.

Skipper is a teenage girl with long brunette hair, blue eyes and light skin. She wears her hair down and has a purple streak at the front. The ends of her hair are also purple. While she plays with Stacie, Skipper wears a white, purple, red, and yellow striped t-shirt with a purple jacket. She wears this with black shorts and sneakers with purple laces. Skipper also wears this outfit to school and the airport. When she's dancing to Barbie's live stream, Skipper wears a white and red plaid shirt, a white top, black jeans, and red slip-on shoes.
Personality[]
Skipper loves technology. She makes laser swords and knows about Rose Ross, who is an online content aggregator. Skipper enjoys playing with Stacie, but she teases Chelsea for wanting to play dress-up. Skipper encourages Barbie when she gets an opportunity to work with Rose Ross, and Skipper feels jealous when Barbie goes to Floravia.
