Simone Roberts is a minor character in Barbie: Big City, Big Dreams.
Story[]
Simone is from Brooklyn, New York and she lives there with her husband Kelvin and their daughter Barbie. Barbie goes to a performing arts school in New York and meets another girl named Barbie. The girls nickname each other based on where they are from, so Simone's daughter becomes "Brooklyn" and Brooklyn's friend becomes "Malibu".
Brooklyn and Malibu become friends and get to know each other. Brooklyn mentions that she has travelled with Simone a lot because Simone is an airline pilot. While Brooklyn is in New York to attend a performing arts school, Kelvin phones Brooklyn to tell her that Simone is in Mexico, and the following week, Simone will be going to Australia.
Brooklyn and Malibu compete for a solo performance in Times Square. Malibu accidentally injures Brooklyn, and someone lies to the dean of their school that Malibu intentionally hurt Brooklyn to eliminate her as competition. Brooklyn believes the lie, and the dean expels Malibu.
Malibu goes home. When Brooklyn's friends prove that Malibu didn't mean to hurt Brooklyn, Simone flies Brooklyn to California to apologize to Malibu. Simone waits in a van while Brooklyn apologizes, and Simone gives a salute to Malibu. Simone flies Brooklyn and Malibu back to New York. Malibu gets re-enrolled at the performing arts school, and the girls find out they get to do the Times Square performance together. Simone and Kelvin watch Brooklyn and Malibu perform.

Simone is a supportive mother to Brooklyn; she flies all the way from Mexico to help Brooklyn apologize Malibu, and Simone watches Brooklyn perform live even though the performance was being livestreamed.
