Silver is a character in Barbie & Her Sisters in A Puppy Chase. She is voiced by Kathleen Barr. Silver is a champion show horse, and she has two daughters named Spirit and Beauty who are also show horses. The three of them are trained and owned by Vivian and Marco.
Story[]
Barbie and her sisters come to an island so their youngest sister, Chelsea, can compete in a dance competition. They are accompanied by their puppies, Taffy, DJ, Rookie and Honey. They all go to watch the Dancing Horse Festival, where the sisters let the puppies go off to play.
Silver's daughter Beauty gets nervous during her debut performance, so Silver gives her an encouraging look. Chelsea cheers for Beauty. After Beauty's performance, Beauty excitedly asks Silver if she was watching. Silver says that Beauty did a great job, but Spirit says she'll do better.
During the horse show, the puppies go into the horses' trailer attached to Vivian and Marco's car. Silver sees the puppies talking to Archibald and also her daughters. Silver asks how the puppies got into the trailer. Beauty asks if the puppies can stay and play, but Silver tells her that their owners are probably looking for them. Before the puppies can leave, Vivian and Marco drive the trailer away before Barbie, and her sisters can get the puppies. At night, Honey says good night to Silver, and Silver says it back.
The next day, after everyone has breakfast, Silver's daughters invite the puppies for a run. Taffy asks if they should stay where they are in case their owners come, but Silver says they will let Barbie and the others know where to find the puppies. Silver's daughters go running with the puppies, and Silver tells them to have fun. Marco rides Silver, and they give the puppies a ride when they are too slow to keep up with Spirit and Beauty.
Later, the sisters find the puppies. Vivian and Marco drive the sisters and puppies towards the competition, but there is a gap in a bridge. Silver sadly explains to Beauty that Chelsea won't be able to get to the competition, but Spirit says they can help. Silver, Spirit and Beauty get Marco's attention, and he says the girls can use the horses to jump over the missing bridge. Skipper and Stacie get on Beauty, with DJ and Rookie in a pouch.
Spirit jumps over the bridge first. DJ cheers on Silver, and she jumps over next. Beauty goes last, and the horses take Barbie and her sisters to the competition. Chelsea arrives late but gets a chance to perform. Chelsea stumbles and falls while performing, so Beauty gets on stage to help her. Spirit and Barbie join in, and the puppies run on stage. Silver, Stacie, and Chelsea follow them and dance, along with Archibald. Chelsea wins the competition, and she thanks Silver and everyone else that helped her. Archibald turns Chelsea's performance music back on, and Silver dances with everyone again.
Physical Appearance[]
Silver is an adult female horse. She has a silver coat, and she has light blue eyes. Silver's mane is silver with bright pink highlights. She wears a bright purple and blue saddle with a blue rein. Silver wears the rein at the festival and gets Skipper and Stacie over the bridge. While crossing the bridge, she also wears a brown pouch for DJ and Rookie to sit in.
Personality[]
Silver is gentle and caring. She is a talented dancing horse. Silver encourages Beauty when she gets nervous during her debut performance. When Taffy is hesitant to go play, Silver tells her to have fun instead of waiting around for Barbie to find her. Silver helps the puppies when they can't keep up with the horses, and she helps Barbie and her sisters get to Chelsea's competition in time. Silver helps Chelsea to perform by dancing with her.
