Chloe and Ji-soo tell the Glyph that they would like a local selfie museum. Alex visits Teresa at the pet food store where she works. He says they will be neighbors once he opens his new photography shop down the block. He goes to meet Poppy, his real estate agent, to go over paperwork. Alex accidentally leaves his phone behind. Teresa tells Malibu and Brooklyn that he is at the old Halloween shop down the street, so they bring the phone to him.
The store has not been redecorated yet. Alex wants to make it a photography gallery but he thinks he'll need something more to bring in customers. Alex says the store has been lots of things but none really stuck, so he hopes the store isn't cursed. Malibu remembers getting Halloween costumes from the store. Malibu and Brooklyn see Peggy outside the store and distract the Glyph from seeing her. The Glyph notices a little prop house. Alex takes photos of Malibu and Brooklyn posing. The Glyph mentions a selfie museum and Alex gets inspired. Poppy arrives with paperwork for Alex. He signs it and Malibu and Brooklyn leave.

The Glyph shrinks herself and sleeps in the little prop house. She returns to her regular size and Alex is surprised she is in the store since he just opened. He offers her a job and needs a name for the application, so she looks around and sees a prop of a rock, as well as a blinking light bulb. She pretends her name is Rocki Blinkybulb. Alex wants to leave Rocki alone in the selfie museum while he takes a break. He begs Rocki to promise she won't leave, so she reluctantly does so. When Rocki tries to leave the selfie museum, a magic barrier stops her. Alex tells Rocki to do some dusting, so she clicks her fingers to make a feather duster work on its own.
Poppy and Whittaker visit and think Rocki's customer service is bad, since she is distracted by trying to stop the feather duster from moving. Rocki doesn't know how to process a card payment, so Whittaker pays in cash and the Reardons leave. Rocki accidentally keeps making more magic dusters. People outside see the dusters and think they are props. Many customers come in to take photos with the dusters. Rocki makes the dusters disappear before Alex returns, and Brooklyn applies for a job.
