Sebastian is a character in Barbie & Her Sisters in A Pony Tale. He is a dog owned by Max. Sebastian's sister Popcorn is owned by Max's twin Marie.
Story[]
Barbie, Skipper, Stacie and Chelsea Roberts visit their aunt Marlene's Alpine Riding Academy. When they arrive, Sebastian and Popcorn are on a windowsill. Popcorn looks outside and sees the girls arriving, so jumps on Sebastian and he wakes up. Popcorn runs away and Sebastian falls off the windowsill.
Marlene and her twin children Marie and Max greet the girls with Sebastian and Popcorn. Max holds Sebastian and Marie rushes past Max to hug Barbie. Max's glasses get knocked onto Sebastian. Sebastian goes with Max, Marie and Popcorn to show the girls to their room. Later, Popcorn sees Sebastian sleeping in the stable. She jumps on the hay bale he is on, propelling him into the air. Marlene catches Sebastian and tells Sebastian and Popcorn to leave.
The next day, Sebastian and Popcorn bark on top the the Alpine logo. Sebastian licks Popcorn. Popcorn pushes Sebastian down and jumps on him. Barbie notices the logo and asks Alpine's riding master, Etienne Cheynet, about it. Etienne says the horse in the logo is from the fabled Majestique herd. Etienne's brother, Philippe Cheynet of Ecole Montagne, wants to find the Majestique. Philippe is suspicious that Barbie knows where the Majestique herd are, so he spies on Barbie. While spying on Barbie from inside a garbage bin, Philippe has to hide because Sebastian and Popcorn come by with Marie and Max. Sebastian and Popcorn bark at the bin. The twins dump garbage into it and then leave. Popcorn runs next to Marie and Sebastian barks at Max.
During the Inter-Academy Equestrian Tournament, Sebastian and Popcorn high five before they watch Stacie compete. Philippe is angry at Ecole Montagne students for losing in their competitions. Sebastian and Popcorn imitate Philippe telling the students off. Sebastian pretends to be Philippe. When Philippe notices them, Sebastian and Popcorn run away. That evening, the Inter-Academy Formal Dance takes place. Popcorn goes with Marie to bring her cousins to the dance. Sebastian and Popcorn dance together during the formal dance.
On the last day of the tournament, Sebastian and Popcorn watch Barbie race Philippe. Sebastian and Popcorn growl when the announcer says Philippe's name. Sebastian and Popcorn are shocked when Philippe hits another horse during the race. After Barbie wins, Marie hugs Max, Sebastian and Popcorn. When Barbie and her sisters are leaving, Sebastian comes along to see the girls off. Sebastian wags his tail as Barbie drives away.
Physical Appearance[]
Sebastian is a small white dog. He has a black nose. Sebastian wears a green and pink bowtie. His toy wears black glasses in reference to the brief moment when Max's glasses fall onto Sebastian. Sebastian and Popcorn are identical.
Personality[]
Sebastian is more serious than Popcorn, similar to Max being less playful than Marie. Sebastian dislikes Philippe.
