The Sapphire Fairycorn is an incredibly powerful character in the second season of Barbie: A Touch of Magic. She banished the centaurs to another dimension when they tried to conquer the world after they made her grant their wish to become mighty warriors.
Fearing the world would use her power for dark deeds again, the Sapphire Fairycorn split her powers into three gems (the Air Gem, the Water Gem, and the Earth Gem) and placed them in Alo's care before going into hiding for centuries. She also hid one last bit of magic in Alo's necklace gem in case of an emergency.

Season 2[]
After Malibu, Teresa, Ken and Alo are sent through a portal by Dru, it leads to where they met Alo. It's also where the centaurs were banished to. Malibu and the others meet Leo's brothers. Alo summons the Sapphire Fairycorn (Sapphi). Sapphi tells Malibu and the others they must find a gift that reverses her banishment spell. Brooklyn, Rocki and Leo follow Dru to the museum. Leo's oldest brother forgives himself for Leo getting left behind, and forgiveness is the gift. The brothers go through a portal.
Dru combines the vase with the three gems that contain Sapphi's power and summons her. Dru wishes for all her wishes to come true, making her a world-famous author before being forced to steal all magic from Mesmer, and later Pacifica and finally Earth. However, Malibu tricks Dru into taking back her own magic just as Earth magic is being drained, causing not only her magic but all magic from the vase and the gems to be destroyed. With the vase and the gems gone, Sapphi is freed once again. She used the last remaining magic stored in Alo's necklace to restore magic to all three realms, banishes Dru to Banishment Island and finally depart for Belgium with Alo to get waffles.

- Flight: With wings of her own, the Sapphire Fairycorn can fly.
- Wish Granting: The Sapphire Fairycorn can grant any wish as long as someone holds the vase and all three gems that contain her power. She is bound by these objects to fulfill the wish no matter how resistant she is.
- Portal Creation: She can create portals to transport to another location.
- Teleportation: With a snap of her fingers, she can transport someone to another location.
- Atmokinesis: She has the power to create powerful weathers, including cyclones.
