Rudy is character in Barbie: A Perfect Christmas. He is a puppy that Barbie and her sisters meet in Rochester, Minnesota.
Story[]
Barbie, Skipper, Stacie and Chelsea go to the Tannenbaum Inn. The innkeeper, Christie, says that every year, shelter dogs are picked to play Santa's reindeer for a dog adoption showcase. Chelsea sees Rudy by himself, and he is attached to a small sled.
Stacie was annoyed with Chelsea for copying her, so Chelsea asks Rudy if the other dogs sent him away for being a "copycat". Rudy whines and Chelsea calls him a "copydog" instead.
Chelsea asks if she can get in Rudy's sled, and he barks in agreement. He sees a squirrel and begins chasing it. Chelsea's sisters run after Chelsea and Rudy, and then they all play together in the snow. Later, Stacie gets annoyed with Chelsea for copying her again. Chelsea tries to talk to Skipper while she is busy arranging a concert at the inn, so Skipper snaps at her.
Chelsea feels rejected and runs away with Rudy. Rudy and Chelsea are found in a barn owned by Christie's family. The concert is held in the barn instead. Afterwards, Rudy leads everyone outside. Everybody sees a large decorated Christmas tree. They hold hands around it and sing a Christmas carol.

Rudy is a husky puppy. He has black and white fur and blue eyes.
Personality[]
Rudy is an excitable and friendly puppy. He likes being Chelsea and chasing squirrels.

- There is a dog that looks similar to Rudy in Land of Sweets.
- The name Rudy has German origins. It is short for Rudolph, like Santa's red-nosed reindeer.
