Poppy Reardon is a character in Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures, Barbie: It Takes Two and Barbie: A Touch of Magic. She is voiced by Lisa Fuson. Poppy lives with her husband Whittaker and their son Trey.

Dreamhouse Adventures[]
Season 1[]
In "Welcome to the Dreamhouse!", the Roberts and her family move into their new Dreamhouse. George forgets to tell their neighbors, the Reardons, that they were moving. The Reardons have the Roberts' moving van towed. The Dreamhouse start malfunctioning, so Skipper suspects that the Reardons have hacked the house. Skipper and Barbie spy on the Reardons and conclude that they're not smart enough to hack the Dreamhouse. It turns out the house was malfunctioning because a squirrel chewed the wires in the house's access panel, and the squirrel ends up getting into the Reardon's yard and scaring them.
In "The Great Pioneer Adventure", the Roberts spend the weekend living without technology such as cars. Barbie and Skipper have to make an emergency trip, so they use a horse named Misty. Misty jumps into the Reardon's backyard, alarming Whittaker and Poppy.
In "Picture Perfect Cake", Barbie enters a robotics competition at Robot Con. It takes place the same weekend as her parents' 20th anniversary. Barbie makes a surprise cake for their anniversary party and then goes to Robot Con. Skipper plans the anniversary party at the Dreamhouse, and accidentally ruins Barbie's cake. Poppy and Whittaker come over to complain about the noise. They stay out of politeness and try to look at the surprise cake. Chelsea tries to distract the Reardons from the ruined cake, so they hide in the Dreamhouse elevator. The Reardons leave while everyone is looking at the cake.
In "The Roof Fairy", Chelsea tells Barbie about a the Roof Fairy. Barbie says she isn't real, and then feels guilty, so she tries to bring the Roof Fairy to life for Chelsea. Barbie, Skipper and Stacie dress Ken up as the Roof Fairy, and tell him to go on the roof. The Reardons see Ken in some bushes near the Dreamhouse, and try to call the police. Trey recognizes Ken and laughs and takes photos of him.
Season 2[]
In "Balancing Act", Barbie and George try to think of a father-daughter tradition they can have. George suggests the Malibu Father-Daughter Swing Dancing Contest. Barbie notes that Poppy and Whittaker judge the contest, so they would be biased against Barbie and George and give them low scores.
In "Trey Is for Horses", Trey's parents want him to prepare for a tennis tournament. Barbie and Stacie find out that the Reardons' horse, Duchess, is going to be sold. Barbie and Stacie hope that if Trey rides Duchess, then his parents will be impressed and won't want to sell her. Trey agrees to ride Duchess if Barbie is his partner at a tournament. Trey wants to ride Misty, but his parents are uninterested. Barbie feels bad for Trey after seeing how his parents treat him. Barbie and Stacie teach Trey how to dance with Duchess, and he stands up to his parents and refuses to sell her. They respect him for standing up for himself, and let Duchess stay at the stables.
In "Putts for Pups", Chelsea wants to teach puppies how to read, but she doesn't have money to buy them books. Chelsea decides to hold a mini golf charity event to get book donations to start the first ever puppy library. Barbie and Ken help her to set up the mini golf course. They want to put the 9 holes in front of the 9 houses in the neighborhood, but the Reardons don't want anyone on their lawn. Barbie tries to get Trey to persuade his parents by giving him food and doing some of his chores. Trey doesn't help, so Ken and Barbie help Chelsea complete the tournament without stepping on the Reardons' lawn. Poppy tells the Roberts that they embarrassed the Reardons in front of the whole neighborhood, and Poppy and Whittaker make Trey mow the backyard.
Season 3[]
In "Virtually Famous", Barbie gets "vlogger's block" and needs help thinking of vlog ideas. Her friends help her to film a vlog, and it goes viral. Teresa becomes obsessed with making more viral videos. Barbie finds it hard to be honest that she's not having fun chasing internet fame. Barbie eventually tells Teresa the truth, and they film a lip dub video with everyone, including the Reardons. The puppies chase the Reardons when the video is done.
In "All Dogs Go to the Beach", Poppy uses her connections to ban dogs from the beach. Barbie and Nikki are unhappy about the dog ban, so Nikki runs for office with Barbie as her campaign manager. Poppy becomes Nikki's opponent and Poppy wins by one point after sabotaging Nikki's campaign. However, Poppy is overheard insulting the voters. To avoid a recall election, Poppy pretends to love dogs and reverses the dog ban.
In "Room Swap", the Reardons are having an addition to their house. The loud construction disturbs Barbie and also some ants. Whittaker tells Poppy that he hopes the construction will be over soon, and she yelps. Chelsea lures the ants to the Dreamhouse, causing an infestation after she feeds them sugar. The Roberts call Bruno Romanoff, who runs a humane repellent service. He sends the ants "home" to the Reardons. Poppy yells at Whittaker to do something about the ants.
In "Totally Spying", the Reardons get the Roberts' mail, including a notice that says if they don't file the Dreamhouse blueprints by the next day, they could be forced to move. Poppy tells Trey to steal the blueprints so they can make the Roberts move far away. Trey pretends to get injured by Stacie's skateboard while his parents are away, so the Roberts take care of him. Barbie and her family keep up with his demands while he tries to discreetly steal the blueprints. Poppy keeps checking on Trey over the phone. Trey gets the blueprints, but after getting overwhelmed by the Roberts' care, he confesses to the Roberts that he lied about being injured, and also admits he liked spending time with them because they are different to his parents. He has Rookie secretly put the blueprints back, and the Roberts never find out about Poppy's plan.
In "A Dog's Day in Court", Nikki is at the Dreamhouse getting help with her pet business. Some dogs run over to the Reardons and give Trey fleas. This inspires a plan by Poppy to make the Roberts move away. The Reardons release fleas in the neighborhood and cause a 3-mile wide flea infestation. While the houses are being fumigated, there is an official city order that there can be no animals on the premises. Poppy rents several animals and has them delivered to the Dreamhouse. An animal inspector checks the Dreamhouse, sees the animals, and says the Roberts have the right to appear before the city council and plead their case. Barbie finds a animal rental receipt and a witness (the person who delivered the animals) to prove that Poppy is to blame. Poppy resigns from the city council and the Roberts are saved from being evicted.
It Takes Two[]
In "Festival Fiasco", the Roberts enter the annual Chilli Cook-Off at the California Music & Food Festival. The Reardons have won 3 years running. The Reardons drive to the festival early and Poppy taunts the Roberts. George puts his secret ingredient blend in a jar, but accidentally leaves it at home. Malibu and Brooklyn are performing at the festival and left after the rest of Malibu's family, so Margaret asks Malibu to go home and get the jar. The Reardons spy on the Roberts and think they have no chance of winning without their secret ingredient. Malibu and Brooklyn get the jar to George in time and he uses it to win the Chilli Cook-Off. Poppy is angry that the Reardons lost. The Reardons watch The Barbies perform and Trey can't resist dancing, but he stops when Poppy and Whittaker glare at him.
A Touch of Magic[]
Season 1[]
In "When Barbie Met Peggy", the Reardons move to a different house nearby. Poppy says moving is exhausting while she hands Whittaker her shoes to put in a box. She asks for each shoe to go in a separate box. Whittaker obediently follows her orders. Poppy gets annoyed when she hears the puppies barking and says that is why the Reardons are moving. Poppy asks Trey to go over and tell the Roberts to be quiet. Trey doesn't want to and says he can't wait to live next to higher-class people, but he sees Brooklyn and smiles. Trey tells his parents not to wait for him and approaches Brooklyn. Poppy makes the moving men move an armchair while she is sitting in it, and she has a bathtub full of water transported to the new house so she can take a bath. Later, Brooklyn's family moves into the Reardons' old house.
In "Finding Home", Poppy tells Whittaker to film her picking up the sale sign from their old house. Poppy says it would be good for their reality TV show audition. Kelvin says he loves the new house and Simone asks if the Reardons will be at a barbecue Ken's family is hosting later. Poppy replies that they moved to avoid things like that. Poppy tells Whittaker to film her leaving in their car, and she drives to give Alex real estate paperwork to sign. Poppy has trouble using the GPS and dislikes having to stop at a red light.
In "Barbie, You Can Drive My Car", Poppy and Whittaker go to the selfie museum. On the way there, Whittaker makes sure Poppy is safe while posing for a selfie next to a road. At the selfie museum, Poppy complains about the customer service of Rocki the Glyph, who works there. Whittaker offers to take Poppy's picture for her, but she declines. When Poppy is done taking selfies, she tries to pay with a card but Rocki doesn't know how to process card payments. Poppy tells Whittaker to pay in cash and complains about the customer service again while leaving.
In "Ken One and Ken Two", Trey invites Brooklyn and Malibu to the Reardons' housewarming party. He only invites Malibu because his parents told him to. He says his parents want him to make new friends and show off to old friends.
In "Skate to Me, Barbie", Whittaker and Poppy attend Simone and Kelvin's anniversary party. Whittaker and Poppy smile when Brooklyn gives her present to her parents.
In "Tiny Problems", Poppy answered an ad to be a reality TV star and wants to get followers online. She tries filming in the selfie museum but doesn't like the lighting, so she goes to the beach instead with Trey, the camera girl and the director. Trey doesn't want to be there so Poppy tells him not to be selfish. Rocki lies to Skipper that she wants to film her and Peggy for a reality show at the beach. Rocki pretends to be the director for the reality show Poppy is on. Rocki says Poppy looks tired and should go for a jog, so Poppy yells at Trey to bring her fans. Rocki pretends the reality show is about finding the best DJ. Trey plays music while Poppy pretends to be a DJ named Poppin' Poppy. He has an idea for Poppy and Skipper to have a "DJ-off". Malibu and Brooklyn go to the beach to find Rocki and Peggy. Poppy thinks Malibu and Brooklyn are there because they want their own reality show. Poppy wants to add a dramatic moment to the show, so she picks up a little boy peacefully playing by the shore and claims she is saving him. Suddenly, a giant wave appears. The boy runs away from Poppy and the giant wave washes over her. Poppy starts drowning. Malibu sees Rocki chasing Peggy, but she goes to save Poppy instead. Rocki gets away with Peggy.
Physical Appearance[]
Poppy is an adult woman with short wavy hair, light green eyes and pale skin. She wears a navy V-neck top, navy capri pants, and gold high heels. Poppy's hair was previously more auburn but in Barbie: A Touch of Magic, her hair is bright ginger. In "Tiny Problems", she wears red sunglasses while pretending to be a DJ.
Personality[]
In Dreamhouse Adventures, Poppy dislikes the Roberts family and thinks she had a superior upbringing compared to them. She looks down on her neighbours and views success as making others jealous of her luxurious lifestyle. Poppy is amused when other people go through misfortunes. She hates dogs and Poppy and Whittaker spoil their son Trey and Poppy fawns over Trey sometimes, but sometimes she emotionally neglects him, completely ignores him and criticizes him.
In It Takes Two, Poppy is overconfident and sneaky; she spies on the Roberts and is sure her family will win the Chilli Cook-Off before the recipes are even judged.
In A Touch of Magic, Poppy is arrogant and conceited. She spoils her son and is demanding towards her husband. She enjoys making other people jealous of her, and wants to be on reality TV and gain followers online.
