He is a French man with slightly long brown hair and a goatee. He is brunette like his cousin Louis.

- Tim Curry, the voice of Philippe also played a villain in Disney's live action version of The Three Musketeers (1993) as Cardinal Richelieu.
- This was the first time a celebrity had returned voiced two different characters in the Barbie films.
