The percussionist is a character in Barbie: Big City, Big Dreams. He is voiced by Daniel MK Cohen. The percussionist is a student at Handler Arts Academy in New York.
Story[]
At Handler Arts Academy, the percussionist usually walks around with his drum. His peers include two girls named Barbie Roberts who nickname each other based on where they are from (one is nicknamed Brooklyn, and the other is nicknamed Malibu). The students compete to be picked to perform at a Spotlight Solo concert in Times Square.
The percussionist sometimes bumps into students and falls over because the drum is so big. One day, during class, Malibu accidentally bumps into Brooklyn and knocks her into an orchestra pit while the percussionist is walking by. Brooklyn's leg gets caught in his drum, so Brooklyn hurts her leg and the drum gets damaged.
After Brooklyn's leg heals, the students go to the message board to see who was selected for the Spotlight Solo. The percussionist sees that "Barbie Roberts" was picked, and he wonders which one was selected. Rafa puts his arm around the percussionist and tells him to wait and see. During a class, the percussionist sadly plays a triangle because his drum is damaged. Malibu and Brooklyn present the percussionist with his fixed drum that has a bow on it. He squeals, then runs over to the drum and kisses it. Malibu and Brooklyn both perform at the Spotlight Solo.

The percussionist is a teenage boy with green hair, blue eyes and light skin. He has dark eyebrows and a short beard. He wears a blue, green and white jacket, light blue jeans, white socks, and green and white sneakers.
Personality[]
The percussionist loves his drum and is rarely seen without it. It is a big drum that is awkward to carry around, so he tries to be polite and avoid bumping into people with it.
