Character |
The peasants are minor characters in Barbie in The Pink Shoes. They are seen dancing and are about to crown Giselle the Queen of the harvest when Kristyn Farraday and Hailey arrive in the ballet world.
Story[]
The peasants are dancing when Kristyn Farraday as Giselle and Hailey arrive in the ballet world. They all wait for Giselle to come out of the cottage but she is hiding behind a tree. After Berthe calls for her, she dances beautifully and the peasants applaud. When Giselle (Kristyn) and Hailey leave, the Snow Queen enters and she demands to know why the dancers have deviated from the story. Hilarion tries to cover for her. The Snow Queen also asks the peasants if they have seen anything else. One of the male peasants replies that she wore beautiful pink shoes. The Snow Queen turns to Berthe and asks her where she got the pink shoes. Berthe answered incorrectly and the Snow Queen knew that Berthe was wrong so she turned her into an ice-sculpture. Leaving, the Snow Queen forces the peasants to dance.
