Nikki Watkins is a character in Barbie: Princess Adventure. She is voiced by Desirae Whitfield. Nikki is a high school student who lives in Malibu, California. Princess Amelia invites Barbie, Nikki and their friends to go on a free field trip to Floravia.
Story[]
Nikki is a student at Golden Beach High. She is friends with Barbie, who is identical to Amelia, a foreign princess. Amelia arranges for Barbie, Nikki and their friends to stay at her palace for a week. Nikki is a big fan of Amelia, and views her as a fashion icon.
Nikki flies to Floravia and says it's the most amazing place she's ever been. She gets excited to meet Amelia and talk about fashion. Barbie meets Amelia and agrees to switch places with her for a week so Amelia can experience a normal life before becoming queen. Barbie tells Nikki and their other friends, and Nikki agrees not to reveal it to anyone until Barbie and Amelia switch back.
Barbie's first event as Amelia is a pre-coronation party. Nikki goes to the party with her friends, and encourages Barbie while she interacts with people. Barbie meets Prince Johan, who knows Amelia. She doesn't know what to say to him, so Nikki helps Barbie to get away from him. Nikki and her friends go back to the palace.
The next day, Nikki goes shopping in Floravia with her friends. She calls it the highlight of her trip, and she buys new pajamas. Nikki and her friends later have a surprise slumber party for Barbie. They hear something, and notice that Amelia's pet rabbit Snowy is trying to get their attention. Snowy leads them to Amelia's secret hangout room.
Nikki and her friends overhear Johan's guards, and figure out that Amelia is in trouble. She was kidnapped by Johan's guards so that she would miss her coronation, and he could become the ruler of Floravia. Nikki and her friends take some scooters to search the city for Amelia. Barbie gets separated from them and attaches her personalized necklace to Morning Star, Amelia's horse. Morning Star alerts Nikki and the others that Barbie is in trouble. Barbie and Amelia are both trapped on Johan's yacht.
Nikki and Teresa give an old man a goat so that he will let them use his speedboat. Then, they go to Johan's yacht. Barbie and Amelia escape and get on the speedboat. After Nikki and her friends work together to get Amelia to her coronation in time, Amelia is crowned queen. Nikki and the others take a group selfie and celebrate with everyone.

Nikki is an African-American teenage girl. She has dark brunette hair, brown eyes and brown skin. Her hair is in single braids and she has it styled in two high buns. She has small hoop earrings on. In Malibu, Nikki wears a green dress with yellow and red flowers on it. There is a yellow band around the waist. She wears a dress with white and brown sneakers.
For a slumber party, Nikki wears a light blue nightdress, purple tiara and purple slippers. Her dress has "Sweet Dreams" written on it in purple. She doesn't wear earrings with this outfit. At the yacht party and coronation, Nikki wears a sleeveless light pink top (that says "believe" on it) with a blue skirt and white and pink sneakers. There is a silver band around the waist. Nikki also wears a silver tiara at the coronation.

Nikki loves fashion and shopping. She is a big fan of Amelia and her style. Nikki is a supportive friend to Barbie and helps her as she pretends to be Amelia.
