Nicole "Nikki" Watkins is a supporting character in Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures. She is voiced by Desirae Whitfield. Nikki is one of Barbie's best friends, and they both attend Golden Beach High.
Story[]
Season 1[]
In "Clubhouse (Remix)", it is Chelsea's birthday. As a present, Barbie and her sisters want to redecorate Chelsea's clubhouse, with help from Nikki and Teresa. They leave the clubhouse by the curb while they look for decorations. A garbage truck takes the clubhouse. Nikki, Teresa and Barbie follow it to the LA County Trash Compacting Facility. They take the clubhouse home and redecorate it, and Chelsea says it's the best present ever.
In "Baby Sister Babysitter", Barbie is supposed to babysit but she wants to see a movie with her friends. George suggests that Skipper babysit instead. Skipper is left alone with the kids she is babysitting, so Barbie worries about her. On the way to the movie, Barbie's friends share their experiences with their first babysitting gig. Nikki says a kid locked her in a bathroom so the fire department had to come. Renee says her older sister would've spied on her if she had been 14 during her first babysitting gig. During the movie, Barbie leaves Nikki and the others to spy on Skipper.
In "Road Trip", Daisy announces that she has the opportunity to DJ at a huge desert music festival. The audience will have 16,000 people, so Daisy is nervous about performing in front of that many people. Nikki designs a bedazzled jacket for Daisy, and the girls use Barbie's camper to drive to the festival. Daisy keeps trying to delay getting to the festival because of her nerves. She makes everyone stop at a gem cave. Nikki finds some gems and says she will make earrings for Daisy. Barbie encourages Daisy to perform even though she's nervous. Nikki, Renee and Teresa fall in a pit, so Barbie and Daisy save them. The girls go to the festival and have fun while Daisy DJ's.
Season 2[]
In "Balancing Act", Barbie feels she has outgrown her father-daughter tradition of spending the equinox with her dad. She lets Chelsea spend time with him instead, but Barbie feels sad to give up the tradition. She asks Ken for advice, and Ken lets Nikki, Teresa, Renee and Daisy know that Barbie is at home. Nikki and the others visit Barbie and they have a pool party.
In "Life Can Be a Dream", Barbie and her friends discuss what careers they want in the future. Nikki wants to be the head of her own lifestyle empire. Barbie can't decide because there are so many possibilities. She has a dream where she is experiences many different careers, such as being a mayor of a town. Nikki is in the dream and he helps Barbie to save the town.
In "Time Will Tell", Nikki and her friends do a dare to take part in Dr. Morton Rise's time travel-based escape room. Nikki wants to be on Teresa's team because Teresa is smart. Nikki gets nervous when Morton confiscates their phones. Barbie and Ken get separated from Teresa and the others. They all find clues in the escape room and manage to solve it with 4 minutes to spare.
In "Putts for Pups", Chelsea wants to teach puppies how to read, but she doesn't have money to buy them books. Chelsea decides to hold a mini golf charity event to get book donations to start the first ever puppy library. Nikki commentates the tournament and cheers Chelsea on. Chelsea completes the tournament, so everyone donates books.
In "Pied Pupper", Barbie attaches a camera to Honey's collar so Chelsea can film a "Day in the Life of a Dog" video for school. Additionally, Barbie helps Ken rehearse for a talent show, and she also bakes health bars for Nikki's bistro scooter business (named Go Bistro). Honey sneaks into one of the boxes of health bars, so Nikki accidentally takes him with her to a music festival. Nikki hands out health bars and then heads back to the Dreamhouse when she runs out. Barbie, who is trying to find Honey, crosses paths with Nikki and gives her more treats. Nikki goes back to the festival to hand out more treats while Barbie chases Honey. Barbie ends up stuck in a tree with Honey, so she admits she needs help.
Season 3[]
In "Virtually Famous", Barbie gets "vlogger's block" and needs help thinking of vlog ideas. Nikki and her other friends help her to film a vlog, and it goes viral. Teresa becomes obsessed with making more viral videos, and Nikki and the others are excited too. Barbie finds it hard to be honest that she's not having fun chasing internet fame. Barbie eventually tells Teresa the truth, and they all film a lip dub video. Nikki takes part, and then Barbie's vlogs return to the classic format.
In "All Dogs Go to the Beach", Nikki has a new dog-walking business named Watkins' Woofs and Walks to help financially support her Go Bistro business. Poppy uses her connections to ban dogs from the beach. This will affect Nikki's dog-walking and Barbie won't be able to bring Taffy to the beach. The girls are unhappy about the dog ban, so Nikki runs for office with Barbie as her campaign manager. The Reardons sabotage Nikki's campaign, but Barbie keeps encouraging her. Nikki loses by one point, but Poppy is caught insulting the voters. To avoid a recall election, Poppy pretends she loves dogs and Barbie tells her to reverse the dog ban to prove it. Poppy agrees and Nikki and Barbie are able to go to the beach with dogs again. Watkins' Woofs and Walks is more popular than ever, and Nikki hires Skipper, Stacie and Chelsea to help her.
In "Getaway and Got Away", Ken gets offered a summer job as a lifeguard at Relax-o-Rama, a new spa resort. He gives Nikki and her friends free passes. When they arrive, they meet the owner, Lucinda Crawford. Ken has to babysit her grandson Grayson. Nikki and her friends relax and enjoy the spa. Grayson likes doing magic illusions, so he makes a bat come out of his magician's hat. Nikki and her friends get full body mud wraps, so they can't move. The bat lands on Nikki and scares them. Grayson knocks Nikki and her friends over while he tries to catch the bat, and then more bats land on Nikki and the others. After the spa trip, Nikki and her friends have fun in the Dreamhouse pool.
In "Barbie Roberts: Undercover Mermaid Part 1", Barbie is going to a tropical island with her family. When Nikki finds out, she enters an online contest and wins four tickets to the island, so Nikki and her friends go with the Roberts. Barbie's parents go to a documentary festival while Barbie's sisters try to prank Barbie. Nikki and her friends plan on showcasing Nikki's designs in a mermaid fashion show that will be judged by Nikki's idol, Fairuza Ukwani. Margaret borrows a necklace to Nikki for the fashion show. Nikki's friends encourage her when she feels unconfident about her designs, and Barbie helps Nikki to fix her dress after it gets messed up. Nikki notices something sneaking into hotel rooms. It is a monkey, and it ends up stealing Margaret's necklace.
In "Barbie Roberts: Undercover Mermaid Part 2", a hotel detective brings Barbie's sisters to her and says he's investigating a string of thefts at the resort that weekend. He suspects Barbie's sisters are involved after catching them taking things from Barbie's hotel room. Fairuza's tiara is also missing. Nikki worries that Fairuza suspects them. After Barbie sees the monkey stealing, she comes up with a plan to catch it and prove who the real culprit is. She gets her mother's necklace back and puts it on Nikki to lure the monkey. At the fashion show, Barbie tells Nikki when to turn around, revealing the necklace. A monkey tries to steal it, and it turns out the monkey has been stealing for the other judge, King Neptune. The security go 2after him. Nikki impressed Fairuza with her designs, so Fairuza announces that Nikki is the winner and will get to design costumes for the next mermaid convention. Barbie and her friends say they had the best vacation ever.
In "A Dog's Day in Court", Barbie, Ken and Chelsea help Nikki with her pet business, which has expanded to washing pets. She has renamed it Watkins' Woofs, Walks and Washes. Some dogs run over to the Reardons and give Trey fleas. This inspires a plan by Poppy to make the Roberts move away. The Reardons release fleas in the neighborhood and cause a 3-mile wide flea infestation. Nikki has no customers because of this. While the houses are being fumigated, there is an official city order that there can be no animals on the premises. Poppy rents several animals and has them delivered to the Dreamhouse. An animal inspector checks the Dreamhouse, sees the animals, and says the Roberts have the right to appear before the city council and plead their case. Nikki watches in the courtroom as Barbie finds a animal rental receipt and a witness (the person who delivered the animals) to prove that Poppy is to blame. Poppy resigns from the city council and the Roberts are saved from being evicted.

In "Magical Mermaid Mystery: Part 1", Nikki and her friends get summer jobs at a water park named Oceans Extreme. Nikki is going to be a face painter. Barbie's family goes on vacation to Costa Rica so George can film a whale documentary. Barbie is disappointed to miss the vacation, so Nikki says they are like family too. Nikki is nervous about testing the water slides with Barbie, but she has fun and wants to do it again. Nikki and her friends are going to be in a musical that their boss, Darcy, has written. The musical is about a legend involving a mermaid who leads rare whales into the secret cave. Darcy goes missing, so Barbie worries about her.

Nikki is an African-American teenage girl with dark brunette hair, brown skin and brown eyes. Her hair is braided into two high buns, and she wears small gold hoop earrings. Nikki usually wears a green dress with yellow and red roses on it. There is a yellow band around the waist. She wears the dress with white and orange sneakers.
In "Road Trip" and "Balancing Act", Nikki wears a white bikini with ruffles. Each ruffle has rainbow colored lining. Later, with her normal clothes, she has a yellow and rainbow backpack. The handle is red and there is red on the straps and on the zip. There is a pink rose and a red rose on the backpack.
Personality[]
Nikki is confident and creative. She is an aspiring artist and a gifted fashion designer. She helps to design a clubhouse for Chelsea's birthday, and she is resourceful when finding decorations for the clubhouse and a jacket she makes for Daisy. When Nikki grows up, she wants to be the head of her own lifestyle empire. Nikki currently has two businesses, one for delivering food and another for walking dogs. She tried to make an electric toothbrush for cats but it didn't work. Another one of her ideas was a surfboard cupholder. In "Road Trip", Nikki feels scared outside the Genuine Gem Cave because Barbie mentions a ghost. Nikki mentions being so scared during some movies that she hides under her seat.

- In "Road Trip", Nikki says if she were famous, she would ban blue candy from her dressing room. She tells her friends, "I don't get blue candy. Never have, never will."
