Meribella is the magical kingdom in Barbie The Princess & the Popstar. The royal family ruling it consists of King Frederic, and his three daughters, Princess Tori, Princess Meredith and Princess Trevi. Keeping the kingdom alive are the roots of the Diamond Gardenia, a magical plant with white shimmery flowers and branches that have real diamonds on them. The plant is hidden in the Royal Palace's secret garden and it is guarded by the garden fairies.

- Meribella as a girl's name is a variant of Maribel. Maribel is a modern name which is a blend of Mary (Latin) "star of the sea" and Belle (French) "beautiful". It is fitting, because the kingdom is by the sea.
- It has a constitutional monarchy.
