Marie lives in Gascony, France, with her daughter Corinne and their cat Miette until she allows Corinne to travel to Paris to become a musketeer.
Personality[]
Marie is very proud of Corinne and believes in her. She is very caring and lets her daughter live her dream. Marie is understanding and seems to be a good listener.

- Her name is officially Marie, as seen in the storybook, though in the film's end credits, she is referred to as "Corinne's mother".
