The island hostess is a character in Barbie & Her Sisters in A Puppy Chase. She is voiced by Kathleen Barr. Barbie takes her sisters and their puppies to the island where the hostess works so that Chelsea can take part in a dance competition.
Story[]
Barbie and her sisters Skipper, Stacie, Chelsea fly to an island so that Chelsea can compete in a dance competition. They bring their puppies with them. When the plane lands, the hostess greets them. She gives each sister a lei Skipper is so happy to be off the plane that she hugs the hostess, who laughs. The puppies bark at the hostess, and she gives each of them flowers to put on their ears.

The island hostess is a woman with light brown skin, brown eyes and long straight black hair. She has bangs and she wears a red headband with a pink flower attached. The hostess wears an orange sleeveless top, a green grass skirt, a flower belt, and two beaded bracelets.
Personality[]
The hostess is a warm and friendly person. She welcomes the sisters to the island, and she laughs when Skipper unexpectedly hugs her. She calls the puppies "furry friends."
