Flutterpixies are a cross between butterfly fairies and pixies. They share the same large heads as pixies and the same butterfly wings as their fairy counterpart. Flutterpixies are very helpful towards the fairies. They help make dresses look nice, similar to the shimmer sprites in Shimmervale that make dresses sparkle. One Flutterpixie, most likely the leader of them all, is hot pink like Mariposa and is a few inches larger than the rest.
In Barbie: Mariposa and Her Butterfly Fairy Friends, the larger Flutterpixie manages to recover the antidote from Henna so that Mariposa can heal Queen Marabella, and is among those given a crown at the end.
