The sisters share one tent while the parents share another. The family finds it increasingly troublesome living without their phones and the Dreamhouse.

In "Baby Sister Babysitter", Skipper babysits for the first time while the rest of the family is out for the evening. Barbie feels uncomfortable leaving Skipper alone at the Dreamhouse with two kids, so Barbie tries to spy on Skipper by using a ladder to look in a window. Skipper hears Barbie accidentally drop the ladder outside, so she turns off all the lights. Barbie phones Ken, who lives next door, to ask if he has power at his house. Ken says he heard noises at her house. Barbie accidentally drops the ladder again, causing her to hang up on Ken. Ken goes to Barbie's house with a bat because he thinks there is an intruder. Ken and Barbie bump into each other and the Dreamhouse alarm gets activated. Skipper turns it off and Margaret phones her to say the rest of the family is coming home. Barbie admits that she should've trusted Skipper.

Daisy gets a DJ gig at a festival, so Barbie and her friends pack the Dream Camper to go to the festival. Skipper, Stacie and Chelsea see them off. Daisy is nervous about the gig, so she hides her turntable in the Dreamhouse freezer. Teresa notices the turntable is missing, so Barbie drives back to the Dreamhouse to retrieve it.

In "Picture Perfect Cake", Barbie wants to throw a big party for her parents' anniversary, but she gets invited to Robot Con. Barbie bakes a special cake for her parents and puts it in a box to protect it while Skipper throws the party instead. The party takes place at the Dreamhouse. Skipper accidentally ruins the cake. Skipper hides in the Dream Camper to bake a new one, but it isn't as good as Barbie's, so Skipper phones Barbie for help. Chelsea distracts the guests while Barbie uses a robot to help Skipper and Stacie to bake a new cake. Skipper and Stacie bring the cake into the Dreamhouse and present it to their parents.

In "The Roof Fairy", Chelsea sits outside the Dreamhouse at night and stares at the roof. Barbie asks why and Chelsea explains that she is waiting for the Roof Fairy to appear. According to Chelsea, the Roof Fairy will play the flute, dance on the roof and drop rose petals in the garden. Barbie, Skipper and Stacie think Chelsea is making it up, but they want to bring the Roof Fairy to life so Chelsea will keep being imaginative. Ken dresses as the Roof Fairy but he is unable to get on the roof. When Barbie and her sisters look at the roof, they see the Roof Fairy. Chelsea goes to bed while Barbie, Skipper, Stacie and Ken gather in the backyard. They hear the Roof Fairy's flute. Instead of trying to think of a logical explanation for seeing a real fairy and hearing the flute, they lay in the grass and listen.
