Dr Ernesto is a character in Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures. According to Chelsea, Dr Ernesto is the Roof Fairy's magical rockhopper penguin friend.
Story[]
In "The Roof Fairy", Chelsea tells Barbie about Dr Ernesto and the Roof Fairy. Chelsea believes they are coming to the Dreamhouse because she lost a tooth the night before. Chelsea claims that Ernesto will help the Roof Fairy to help her grow a new tooth, ease the pain of her recently lost tooth, give her good dreams while her new tooth grows. Chelsea's family is skeptical.
Barbie feels bad about being skeptical about the Roof Fairy and Dr Ernesto. Barbie, Skipper and Stacie try to make the Roof Fairy and Dr Ernesto real so that Chelsea will keep her faith in unlimited possibilities. Barbie asks Skipper and Stacie if they have short penguins. They don't, so Barbie says they can just make it seem like Dr Ernesto is around by making penguin noises.
Stacie makes penguin noises so that Chelsea will think Dr Ernesto and the Roof Fairy are at the Dreamhouse. Chelsea thinks Dr Ernesto sounds odd. Barbie says he sounds different because he is on a secret mission. When Chelsea is alone, she calls to Dr Ernesto. She says he can sound like himself again and that she is good at keeping secrets.
Chelsea sees shoeprints on the ground and thinks it's the Roof Fairy's until she looks closer. She loses her faith in the Roof Fairy, so Barbie wants to bring the Roof Fairy and Ernesto to life. Ken dresses as the Roof Fairy and Barbie dresses DJ as Dr Ernesto. The real Roof Fairy visits the Dreamhouse while Ken and DJ get stuck trying to get on the roof, but Ernesto is not seen.
Physical Appearance[]
According to Chelsea, Dr Ernesto is a short rockhopper penguin. To bring Ernesto to life, Barbie dresses DJ in a tuxedo and top hat to make him look like a penguin.
