After the Fairy Queen was able to give Odette her human form by night, Odette realized she would become a swan at sunrise, Odette agreed to stay and break the spell The Fairy Queen told Odette to search for the Book of Forest Lore in Erasmus' library, which contains how to break Rothbart's spell, that is true love. It also says that if the one whom you love falls for someone else and declares their love to them, the crystal shall lose it's power. The book has a special lock and can be opened only by the bearer of the Magic Crystal.
