Live-Action movie news: good or bad?
Well, there are news about new live-action movie of Barbie. When I first learn about this, I was very happy. Imagine, Barbie is played by some popular, young star. Interesting fairytales, ect. But then I think: Will this movie really be good? I mean that what style will be this movie? You know who is writer... writer of "... And The City". Well, does it mean something for future Barbie movie? Modernization of characters
Well, I always wanted to write this blog. Not only stories of Barbie movies become modern. There also are modern characters. I don't mean that characters become more fashionable or sassy, yes they did, but I want talk about other: Barbie's roles become more "kid like". For example Analuisa, Erika, Rapunzel Odette more like young women than girls. They are ready for living without an adult, marriage, having children, ect. They are more serious and mature. But Merliah, princess Tori, Lumina are teens, and sometimes seems to be still "children". I mean that they still live with some adult, who take care of them ( remember how Scylla take care of Lumina ), and of course they aren't ready for marriage. Villains Predictions
Hello, there. This time I would discuss something about The Pearl Princess.
Have u guys noticed the desciption carefully? It said, "At the ball, the villains try to seize...". Notice the 'villain' word. It has an 's' behind it, which refer to more than one villain. Are these villains cooperate or in separate sides? Or maybe it's more like a family business?
Plus, please make it spoiler-free. I haven't read any character description about Pearl Princess. Except for Lumina, well, that's months ago. But, I'm thrilled to discover it myself. And I believe others too.

Hey guys, I know my new years resolution was to edit the wiki everyday, but I completely forgot yesterday! There are lot of lost princess in Barbie movies. The first one was Rapunzel, next were Rosella, Merliah, Blair and Lumina. I'm sure, that there will be more stories about lost princess in future Barbie movies. What is special in lost princess? Well, I don't know, maybe because their life story is very dramatic and interesting. I do not love movies about lost princess as much as I love life story of main characters. Want to admin My Scene Wiki?
I made a My Scene wiki almost a year ago. I set it up so there would be a My Scene wiki with an admin you could easily contact, and so a My Scene information source (this wiki) wouldn't limit how much info they'd have to just things Barbie had been in.
The My Scene pages don't really get much attention here, so I think it would be a good idea to move the My Scene content from this wiki to my-scene.wikia.com. What does everyone think? If people agree then I'm happy to make people from here who like My Scene into admins for the My Scene wiki so I'm not the only one administrating it.

What's something you want to see in Barbie movies?
I'm sure this topic has probably already been talked about, but I'm new here so I haven't seen it.
So I am incredibly excited to see The Secret Door and I wish that it was coming out in March instead of Pearl Princess. One of the reasons I'm so excited about The Secret Door is because it sounds like a movie that will have an actual adventure! That is something that I always hope I'll see in whatever movie is coming out next and there's finally a chance so I can hardly wait.
Other Barbie movies that I think would be really cool:
Maybe a King Arthur type of thing? Something medieval like princess and the pauper would be really fun to see now that the animation is more vibrant.

Mistake in BMT?
So, I thought about queen Calissa. So, Calissa gave birth to Merliah 17 years ago. Before I saw BMT2, I thought that Calissa must be 45 - 48 years old, because in Break's flashback, Calissa looked almost same, and this mean that she had been in her 30s when she give birth to Merliah. But in BMT2, Calissa told that 20 years ago she was 17 year old! And that mean, that she gave birth to Merliah 3 years after ceremony, when she was only 20 year old! So, I think there is little "mistake". First Calissa looks very young in ceremony. And in flashback she looks like adult person. Could she change so much during just 3 years? And also 20 years... IT IS TOO EARLY!!!!

Hey everyone! The release of Barbie: The Pearl Princess is really close now, which is awesome because we first heard about it in April and now it's almost time! So I'm wondering, how are you going to experience the movie?
Are you gonna find any information you can and keep up to date, even if it means spoilers, or are you gonna avoid any info about the movie so everything is new and fresh when you see it?
Are you gonna see it in a movie theater or wait until you can buy it? You can get it as a digital copy, or you can buy the DVD or Blu-ray. This will be the fourth Barbie movie that will be Blu-ray quality, and the first underwater one to be such high quality, so I bet it will look really nice.

Barbie movies in our family
So, first I saw Barbie movie years ago. But I didn't became Barbie movies fan at the first time! I though that Barbie movies are for "little kids". So, my sister became Barbie movies fan. She watched them almost every day and it is normal that it made me want to watch some movies too! Then I understood that Barbie movies aren't only for children! Now all members of my family love to watch Barbie movies: my younger sister - 9 year old, I - 15 year old, sometimes even our parents ( persons in their 40s and 50s ) and our dog, cat and bird - we all watch Barbie movies! :)

Hi everyone, I have not been active for a while. I told Miranda everything and won't be returning because of usual school & study problems, Though I was quite motivated but I concluded that it's better to leave than not to contribute at all. So, there is the fact: after 2012 year, lot of Barbie's fans want to see Barbie's parents. Barbie's parents are George and Margaret Roberts ( find more information in Barbie Dream Wikia ). They were first members of Barbie's family and friends, as far as I know. George and Margaret were an integral part of Barbie's old books. So, there is question: Why do they are not appear any more? Why do they was not with their daughters in "Barbie In A Perfect Christmas"? As I know, they are Archaeologists and they usually go to China.

Hi, it's my first post and I hope u don't mind to answer these questions. As all u can know, Barbie movies are quite unpredictable by any means. Who knows what might we found in next several years?

Is This a Glitch?
If not, it's a nice way of making sure that Kathrin-Maria Samrra Stehle doesn't continue adding categories in sections whereas the overall page already has those categories. I'm asking, because I deleted the categories in a section, but when I re-add it to the entire page, I go to the Edit page of the Trivia section and it's there once again. Other pages aren't like this, though. But if this isn't a glitch, and there for a purpose, it's very much appreciated.
Edit: I find that the above is happening to all pages. I added categories to a page of a major character that strangely had none, so I did it. And I found that after adding the categories to the overall page, it's also there in the different sections: Trivia, Quotes, etc. So I'm correct…
Problems...
So, as you might know I haven't been active in quite a long time. I'm busy with school and those kind of stuff. I'm in the first year of High School and having quite a hard time fitting there. BTW I sometimes have time to come here and just check what's going on, but I noticed that things her have gotten out of my hands. I feel like the BMWikia is getting kinda messy. (I'm sorry, I'm not trying to brag that it was good during the time I was active). I don't see many of the admins being active now and Olivia seems to be busy too.

What´s important for a good movie?
Hey!
What is important to you if you watch a new movie? Morals? The story? Friendship and love? Glitter and pink? Songs? Or the characters?
For me most important is the moral - without a moral the movie can´t be a good one. Thats I think too at songs. Movies with sensefull songs or dance scenes are wonderful! Important too is the question: Is there love? I´m a very romantic person who loves to watch romantic scenes ;) And then of course is the characters. Are they tolerant, friendly and funny?
Friendship, the plot and the number of pink and glitter isn´t for me not so important to make a good movie.

The reason why I have that one particular trivia, which you (PrincessMariposaBarbie) keep deleting, on Mariposa and "Barbie (Fab Sisters)|Barbie" is because it's true, and not an opinion. They do look alike, which Mariposa doesn't before that transformation with Catania. Just look!
Then you didn't really read the trivias. I mentioned two different movies apart from the Mariposa sequel: "Barbie: A Fashion Story" and "Barbie & Her Sisters in A Pony Tale."
I wrote that Mariposa's hairstyle at the end is identical to Barbie's in Barbie & Her Sisters in A Pony Tale except that the braid is in the back in Barbie's style, not on top.

Barbie Movie Ideas
I watched Rodger's and Hammerstein's Cinderella (1997) earlier and I absolutely love it. I've really liked it since I was a little kid. It made me think, what if there was a Barbie animation where she played Cinderella? There is a Barbie Cinderella doll from over 10 years ago here, and there's a Barbie Cinderella story here.
There are some more pictures of the doll here. The doll is from a Children's Collector series of dolls based on nursery rhymes like Little Bo Peep, and fairytales like Sleeping Beauty. I think it would be really nice if there were Barbie shorts or something of Barbie doing fairytales.
