Barbie: A Fashion Fairytale[]

Barbie is the main character in Barbie: A Fashion Fairytale. She is voiced by Diana Kaarina. After getting fired from an acting job and mistakenly thinking that her boyfriend Ken has broken up with her, Barbie goes to visit her Aunt Millicent's fashion house in Paris. She meets Marie-Alecia, a fashion designer working with Millicent, and they discover the Flairies. With the help of the Flairies, Barbie and her friends try to save Millicent's fashion house from closing down.

Official Description[]

"Barbie is a cool confident girl with fantastic style. She's fun to be with and an incredibly loyal friend. Barbie uses her creativity (and her huge network of friends and fans) to save her Aunt's business. She also inspires her friend Marie-Alecia to share her gift for fashion designing and make her dreams come true. Along the way, she even rediscovers her own inner sparkle!"

Story[]

Barbie was supposed to play the princess in "The Princess and the Pea," but Barbie upsets Todd, the movie director, because she doesn't like the idea of zombie peas and Todd dislikes Barbie expressing her opinion so he fires her. She sees people gossiping about her online, and her boyfriend Ken breaks up with her over the phone.

Barbie's friends Teresa and Grace encourage Barbie to go on a vacation to cheer her up, so Barbie plans to spend the last weeks of summer vacation with her Aunt Millicent, a fashion designer who is based in Paris, France. Barbie flies to Paris with her dog Sequin, and Teresa and Grace find out the next day that Ken breaking up with Barbie was a prank done by Raquelle. Ken decides to go after Barbie so they can reunite.

In Paris, Barbie meets Marie-Alecia, or Alice, Aunt Millicent's assistant. Aunt Millicent tells Barbie that she is closing Millicent's due to people being disrespectful about her work, so Barbie and Alice go to pack in the studio. Alice explains that Hotdogeteria, the people who Aunt Millicent sold her building to, are going to convert Millicent's into a hot dog place later that week. Barbie says that Millicent's feels magical, which prompts Alice to show Barbie the glitterizer, an ancient wardrobe with flairies inside of it.

Alice and Barbie summon the flairies by putting a dress Alice designed into the glitterizer and then reciting a chant. Barbie looks in the glitterizer and sees Alice's dress, which the flairies made shimmer, glimmer and shine because it inspired them. The flairies reveal that if Hotdogeteria takes over Millicent's, they will lose their powers. Aunt Millicent explains to everyone that to get enough money to leave Hotdogeteria's contract, she would have to design and sell a new fashion line. However, she believed that she didn't have enough time or fans for that plan to work.

A woman buys Alice's dress, which inspires everyone. They plan to have Alice design a fashion line with enhancements by the flairies. Then they planned to have a fashion show for publicity. The next day, Barbie sees Sequin wearing an outfit that Aunt Millicent's dog Jacques designed, so she decides to include pet fashions in the show. Aunt Millicent helps Alice with the fashion line and Jacqueline, a fashion designer who has a fashion house opposite Millicent's, sees the flairies and captures them. She uses them to enhance her designs, even though they are not inspired and they don't know what the magic will do. They are later rescued by the pets.

The following day, the only person who comes to Millicent's fashion show at first is the Hotdogeteria guy because Jacqueline held her own fashion show to draw attention away from Aunt Millicent. However, because Jacqueline’s designs hadn’t inspired the flairies, the enhancements backfire and make the clothes smell like trash. The audience leaves Jacqueline’s show and they go to Aunt Millicent’s show instead. Barbie was the catwalk model for the show.

For the final dress Barbie showcased, the flairies use their powers to their full potential and completely transform it. Ken goes onto the stage and reunites with Barbie after taking days to reach her in Paris. Barbie considers it the most romantic thing she could imagine. Ken explains that he cares about Barbie and not her career. Barbie and Ken say that they love each other. They kiss, and the flairies give Ken a suit to wear that compliments Barbie’s dress. The show is a great success and a woman places an order for 10,000 pieces from Alice and Aunt Millicent’s line, so Millicent’s and the flairies' powers are safe. Jacqueline sees the error of her design-stealing ways, and vows to make a change. Millicent suggests they could work together sometime.

Lilliana Roxelle invites Barbie, Alice, Aunt Millicent and Ken to come to a black, white and pink party she is having that night, so the flairies give them carriages to travel in. As she goes to the party, Todd's assistant Spencer finds Barbie and offers her a job as a director, which she says she will consider. Barbie and Ken dance together at the party and they kiss again.

Official Description[]

"The fashion forward movie-star is about to learn a lot about friendship and fairy secrets!"

Story[]

Barbie goes to the premiere of her latest movie with Carrie and Taylor, her stylists. She is unaware that Carrie and Taylor are fairies. Raquelle, jealous of the attention Barbie gets, purposely rips Barbie’s dress, so Carrie and Taylor use magic to repair it. Crystal, another fairy, takes photos of Barbie and Ken, and she shows them to Princess Graciella, the Fairy Princess of the secret fairy city Gloss Angeles. Crystal gives Graciella a love potion, so the princess falls in love with Ken and wants to marry him.

The next day, Barbie confronts Raquelle about ripping her dress. While they argue, Crystal, Princess Graciella and her assistants kidnap Ken and take him to Gloss Angeles. Barbie and Raquelle find out that Carrie and Taylor are fairies, and they decide to work together to save Ken. They use a Fairy Flyway to go to Paris and see Lilliana Roxelle, who is also a fairy. She gives Barbie an antidote for the potion and then Barbie, Raquelle, Carrie and Taylor go to Gloss Angeles.

Carrie and Taylor take Barbie and Raquelle to Wings and Things to get fake wings. Barbie finds it easy to use the wings, but Raquelle struggles. They later find pegaponies, which allow the girls to ride on them. The pegaponies stop when they get to swirlnadoes, strong wind currents used to protect the palace. Barbie encourages Raquelle to lead them past the swirlnadoes due to Raquelle being the best at a horse-riding camp they went to the summer after 10th grade, and then they use chef disguises to get past the palace guards.

Barbie and the girls are exposed to the palace and are sent to the dungeon. Barbie and Raquelle are put into a FurySphere, which is supposedly escape-proof. While they are stuck together, they tell each other that the reason they had a hostile relationship is that Raquelle thought Barbie was uninterested in her, and Barbie had felt the same way. They become friends after they realize their dislike of each other was based on misunderstandings, and there is a transformation; the cage of the Fury Sphere disappears, and Barbie and Raquelle get real wings.

Barbie and Raquelle stop Ken and Graciella from getting married by halting the wedding and giving Graciella the love potion antidote. To make sure Barbie and Raquelle do not tell anyone about Gloss Angeles, they are made to believe that their adventure in Gloss Angeles was only a dream. The next day, Barbie and Ken meet up at Wally’s and find it strange that they had the same “dream”. Raquelle sits with them and is nicer to Barbie than usual, and Carrie and Taylor go back to Gloss Angeles.

Barbie: A Perfect Christmas[]

Barbara Millicent "Barbie" Roberts is the main character in Barbie: A Perfect Christmas. Her speaking voice is by Diana Kaarina and her singing voice is by Jennifer Waris. Barbie is an actress who lives in Malibu, California with her sisters Skipper, Stacie and Chelsea. The girls dream of having the perfect Christmas in New York, but things don't go to plan.

Story[]

Barbie, Skipper, Stacie and Chelsea plan on spending Christmas in New York with their aunt, Millicent. Barbie and her aunt have front row tickets to a Broadway show on 42nd street. Each sister thinks they will have the perfect Christmas in New York. Barbie picks up their stockings and the girls board their flight.

On the plane, Skipper works on a song that she is writing for her friend Zoe. Zoe's band will play the song at a gig in New York, and Skipper wants to livestream it. Barbie offers to show the song to bands that she knows, but Skipper says she doesn't need any help. Due to a snowstorm, the plane is forced to land. Barbie promises her sisters they will get to New York, so she tries to drive to Minneapolis so they can try a bigger airport. Barbie drives for hours and gets lost.

The girls find the Tannenbaum Inn and meet Christie Clauson and the Elif family. Barbie and her sisters help them to wrap presents for a toy drive. The girls stay at the inn for the night. Their morning flight gets cancelled because of another snowstorm, but Barbie maintains her promise that they will get to New York. Privately, Barbie confides in Christie that she feels like she will have to take the perfect Christmas away from her sisters because of promises she couldn't keep. Christie says that the perfect Christmas is a feeling that can't be taken away, and she encourages Barbie to wish on a star. Barbie wishes that she and her sisters will have the perfect Christmas.

The next day, on Christmas Eve, Skipper says they may not be able to travel for days because of all the snow. Barbie says they can go to New York next year, but her sisters still feel disappointed. Barbie hangs their stockings on a window sill so Santa can find them. Barbie sees reindeer outside. They go outside and see shelter dogs dressed as Santa's reindeer. They girls later find the real reindeer and follow the herd to a barn filled with hundreds of wrapped gifts.

After playing in the snow with her sisters and a dog named Rudy, Barbie and her sisters meet Brian. Brian has a band with no lead singer, and he is a fan of Skipper's video blog. Barbie suggests that Skipper perform with Brian's band at the inn. Skipper likes the idea, but wants to arrange the concert without any help. Skipper poses the idea to Brian's band and they agree. Christie and the Elifs try to help prepare the concert while Barbie makes decorations.

When Barbie is done making decorations, she goes outside the inn to see how the concert preparation is going. Skipper instructed Christie and the Elifs not to make any decisions without her permission, so some things have not been decided because Skipper is too busy rehearsing. Stacie and Chelsea are supposed to do a showcase for the shelter dogs before Skipper's performance, but Stacie wants to do it alone. Skipper feels stressed by all the decision-making she has to do, so she snaps at Chelsea. Chelsea runs away with Rudy.

Skipper assumes that Barbie usually plans big events by herself, but Barbie informs Skipper that she always has a lot of help. Skipper says she finds it hard to measure up to Barbie, so Barbie compliments Skipper and reminds her that Brian was impressed by Skipper's video blog, which Skipper made by herself. Skipper thinks that was the perfect thing to say. Barbie and Skipper share a hug. Some dogs run amok and ruin the concert set up, and everyone realizes Chelsea is missing. Everybody searches for Chelsea, and her sisters find her in the barn.

Barbie is relieved to find that Chelsea is safe. Chelsea says she ran away because she thought people would be happier without her around. Skipper and Stacie tell her that is untrue, and they love having her around. The sisters share a group hug. The girls notice that the presents in the barn are all gone and have been replaced by decorations, a stage and chairs for an audience. Their stockings are also there and are filled with presents. Chelsea thinks this was Santa's present for them, and Christie implies that Chelsea is right.

Christie insists that they have the concert in the barn. Skipper allows people to help her. Before the concert, Barbie hands out drinks to the audience. When Skipper performs, Barbie, Stacie and Chelsea join her on stage. The girls get a standing ovation and find out that Millicent was watching them. Millicent compliments their performance, and then everybody goes outside and sings a Christmas carol while holding hands around a Christmas tree.

Barbie & Her Sisters in A Pony Tale[]

Barbie Roberts is a main character in Barbie & Her Sisters in A Pony Tale. She is voiced by Kelly Sheridan.

Story[]

Barbie, Skipper, Stacie and Chelsea go to the Alps to visit their aunt Marlene's Alpine Riding Academy during the summer. They arrive in their camper and are greeted by Marlene, as well as their twin cousins Marie and Max and the twins' dogs Popcorn and Sebastian.

Alpine's riding master, Etienne, mentions a tournament. Marlene says there is an annual Inter-Academy Equestrian Tournament between Alpine and all the other local riding schools, and the prize money is substantial. This year, Alpine is hosting. Barbie goes to see the thoroughbred horses in the stable. Barbie is an experienced horse-rider so she is allowed to pick her own horse. She settles on Finian. The next morning, a goat named Barnaby wakes up Barbie and her sisters.

Barbie and her sisters go horse-riding and Barbie spots an unusual horse in the distance. The horse has pink streaks in her mane and is standing next to a waterfall. Barbie looks away for a moment, and the horse is gone when Barbie looks back. In the evening, Barbie notices that the Alpine logo looks like the horse she saw. Barbie hears Etienne singing "Fais dodo". She follows his voice to the stable, where Etienne is brushing a horse named Reynaud.

Barbie asks Etienne about Alpine's logo and says she feels like she's seen the horse somewhere. Etienne replies that the horse doesn't exist, and the logo is based on a fable of an ancient herd of wild horses called the Majestique. Etienne explains that the Majestique were the smartest, fastest, bravest horses and had a pink streak in their manes. He adds that the Majestique looked like they were flying when they jumped, and claims that no Majestique was ever caught or photographed.

Etienne's brother Philippe, the riding master of rival school Ecole Montagne, interrupts and dismisses the Majestique as a fairy tale. He asks Barbie if she has seen one, but she plays coy. The following day, Barbie and Finian go back to the spot where Barbie saw the unusual horse. Finian gets scared by an strange noise, so he stands on his hind legs and Barbie falls off. Finian runs away and Barbie is surrounded by a pack of wolves. The unusual horse rescues Barbie, but runs away when Barbie tries to pet her after.

The next day, Barbie searches for the unusual horse and finds her. The horse's leg is trapped in some boulders, so the horse is in pain. Barbie sings "Fais dodo" to calm down the horse and manages to free the horse's leg. Barbie uses a scarf she is wearing to bandage the horse's leg, then feeds the horse an apple. Barbie names the horse Majesty. Later, Philippe searches the Alpine land and finds some of Majesty's hair near the boulders where she was stuck. He sees Barbie nearby and begins spying on her.

Later, Barbie tries to put a saddle on Majesty but Majesty doesn't want to wear it, so Barbie gets on Majesty without one. Philippe sees Barbie riding Majesty. Later, Majesty takes Barbie behind the waterfall where Barbie first saw her. Behind the waterfall is the Valley of the Majestiques, and the whole herd is there. Majesty kneels before Barbie and Barbie curtseys back. Marlene reveals to Skipper that she may have to sell Alpine Academy due to low enrolment. The only way for Marlene to keep Alpine is if they win the prize money from the tournament. Skipper is confident that the Roberts sisters can help to win the tournament, so she goes to talk to Barbie about it.

Skipper finds Barbie with Majesty in the valley and explains Marlene's dilemma to Barbie. For the tournament, Skipper plans on entering dressage and thinks Barbie should run in the steeplechase with Majesty. However, Etienne is already riding for Alpine and Barbie wants to keep Majesty a secret until she brings Majesty back to Malibu. Barbie knows that if she shows up with Majesty, then Philippe will recognize Majesty, hunt down the Majestique and break up the herd.

At Alpine, Barbie sees Stacie skateboarding instead of practicing with for the cross-country trial in the tournament. Stacie says she is thinking of dropping out because she can't control her horse. Barbie encourages Stacie to befriend the horse instead. On the first day of the tournament, Chelsea wins the Pretty Pony Parade with Dash. Skipper enters dressage and beats Jonas of Ecole Montagne. Thanks to Barbie's encouragement, Stacie enters the cross-country competition. Stacie comes 2nd place, so Ecole Montagne and Alpine Academy are tied for first place.

That night, the Inter-Academy Formal Dance takes place. Barbie dances with Marlene and Chelsea. Outside of the dance venue, Philippe secretly unlocks a horse corral. When Chelsea is left alone, she notices the big horses in the corral and tries riding one. The horse panics and kicks the corral open, so all of the horses escape and run away. The horse kicks Etienne hard and then runs away. Barbie, Skipper and Jonas search for the horses until sunrise. Barbie knows the horses might be in the Valley of the Majestiques, so they go there. They find that Majesty led the horses to the valley.

Barbie tells Jonas to keep the Majestiques a secret and he agrees. Philippe finds them on their way back to Alpine Academy. He is sure the Majestiques are somewhere on Alpine land and that Barbie has find their valley, but Barbie plays coy. Philippe is confident he will win the steeplechase since Etienne has broken his arm and is unable to compete. Philippe plans on winning the steeplechase, buying Alpine Academy and its land, and then finding the Majestiques and profiting off them. Barbie becomes determined to win the race, so she competes with Majesty. Skipper films the race.

Majesty dislikes Barbie using a saddle, and Majesty is scared by camera shutters and flashes when the race begins. Philippe takes the lead by hitting his horse Hurricane with a riding crop, and Philippe cheats throughout the race. When Barbie and Majesty catch up to Philippe, he tears Majesty's saddle and Barbie falls off. Barbie gets back on Majesty without the saddle. With one jump left in the race, Majesty jumps higher than Hurricane and looks like she's flying. She takes the lead.

Hurricane has enough of being hit and stops abruptly, so Philippe falls off. Barbie and Majesty win the race. Barbie gets a trophy and Alpine wins the overall Tournament Cup. Philippe's Bridgette scolds him and congratulates Barbie and Marlene. Someone takes a photo of Barbie with her sisters, Marlene and Majesty. When Barbie and her sisters are ready to go home, Marlene gives Barbie a framed version of the photo. Barbie tells Marlene she had the best summer ever. Marlene thanks Barbie and her sisters because after Skipper posted her video of the steeplechase online, Alpine's enrolment tripled.

Barbie says to Majesty that she will see her in Malibu. Barbie thinks Majesty will like California. Before Barbie and her sisters leave, Barbie sees some Majestiques in the distance. One of them gestures for Majesty to come back. Barbie has a change of heart and refuses to separate Majesty from her family. Barbie tells Majesty she will never forget her and then lets Majesty go.
