Scene 1 (Plane)[]

[Barbie and her sisters are on an plane to an island.]
Rookie: [Barks]
Stacie: Are you excited, Rookie? We're almost there!
Rookie: [Barks]
Chelsea: [Watching a video of herself doing ballet] One, two, three. Up, pivot, down. Up, step, turn.
Stacie: Oh, cool! I can see the airport!
Chelsea: Can you see the theatre for my dance competition? Any dancers rehearsing on the stage?
Stacie: Chelsea, everything looks like ants from up here.
Chelsea: Whoa! They have dancing ants?!
Taffy: Huh?
[Chelsea laughs]
Barbie: Look, Skipper. There's the beach. Aren't you excited? I can't wait to...
Skipper: [Gags] Ugh, can you dial down the enthusia-palooza until we land, Barbie? DJ and I are a little woozy.
[DJ whines]
Female Announcer: Attention, passengers. Please fasten your seatbelts in preparation for landing.
[The puppies prepare by getting into bags.]
Honey: Hey, who turned out the lights?
Rookie: Try turning around, Honey.
Honey: That's better. Thanks, Rookie.
Male Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen...
Taffy, DJ, Rookie and Honey: And puppies! [Laughing]
Male Announcer: Please enjoy your stay on the island.
Barbie: I can't wait to show you guys your surprise.
Chelsea: Surprise? That's my second-favourite word. After cupcakes. Unless it's surprise cupcakes. Is it surprise cupcakes?

Scene 2 (Island)[]

[An island hostess puts a lei around Barbie's neck.]
Barbie: Smell that island air. Fresh ocean breeze with a splash of coconut.
[The island hostess puts a lei around Stacie's neck.]
Stacie: Thank you.
Island Hostess: Welcome to the island.
[The island hostess puts a lei around Skipper's neck. Skipper hugs her.]
Skipper: Aw, you don't know how glad I am to be off that bumpy plane!
[The island hostess laughs. Skipper takes a selfie. The island hostess hands Chelsea a lei.]
Chelsea: Ooh, pretty! Pink is my favourite!
Stacie: Is this waterproof? 'Cause I'm all about the water sports. I can't wait to check out the killer waves!
Chelsea: Killer waves? That sounds scary.
[Stacie roars and chases Chelsea as Chelsea laughs and runs away. The puppies bark at the island hostess.]
Island Hostess: Aww. Now, we can't forget our furry friends, can we?
[The island hostess puts flowers on the puppy's ears.]
Rookie: My flower looks like a firework!
Honey: Aw, that's so pretty, Rookie.
Rookie: Yeah, pretty awesome.
[Honey laughs.]
Taffy: Yours too, Honey.
Honey: Oh, Taffy, the pink matches your collar.
[DJ sneezes.]
Taffy: What's wrong? Don't you like your flower, DJ?
DJ: I think I'm... [Sneezes] Allergic.
Stacie: Aww. Look how cute the pups are.
[Skipper takes a photo of the puppies.]
Barbie: [Laughs] Adorable as always. Now, let's go see the surprise.
Stacie: Like, when?
Barbie: Like, right now. Who's ready for a quick road trip?
Stacie: Whoa, whoa, whoa, a road trip? But the hotel website strongly suggested signing up for lessons in advance if you wanna do any of the island sports. And I want to do them all. I'm gonna go snorkeling... No, surfing... Ooh, how about snorfling? I just invented a new sport!
[Skipper sighs and facepalms.]
Chelsea: And I have to get to the hotel to start practicing. We're here for my dance competition, remember?
Skipper: [Takes a selfie] And I have to stop moving and update my blog.
Barbie: Guys, we have plenty of time. You're gonna love this. I promise.
[A young dancer named Lindsay dances towards Chelsea.]
Lindsay: Up, step, turn. Six, seven, eight. Hi, Chelsea. See you tomorrow at the competition.
Chelsea: Yeah. See you, Lindsay! [She looks sad watching Lindsay dance.]
Lindsay: Two, three, four. Up, pivot, down.
Chelsea: See? I need as much rehearsal time as I can get. Look how good Lindsay is. I bet she even dances in her sleep.
Stacie: She's a sleep-dancer. A slancer! I made up another new word! [Skipper looks at Stacie.] What?
Barbie: Come on. Let's go get our bags.
Chelsea: I'll just practise as I go. I guess. Five, six, seven... Or was it two, three, four? Ugh! [She stamps her foot.]
Barbie: Chelsea, stop worrying. You'll be fine.
Chelsea: [Rolls eyes] Okay.

Scene 3 (Hotel)[]

[The puppies bark and run as the sisters transport their luggage.]
Barbie: Let me give you a hand, Chels.
Chelsea: No, no. I got it.
Barbie: Okay.
Chelsea: Hurry up! Lindsay's getting on the hotel van. I bet she's in there practising right now!
Barbie: Relax, Chels. You'll have plenty of time to rehearse when we get back.
Chelsea: But... But what if we're late?
Barbie: It's a small island. How long could it possibly take to get back? Now, who's up for a little sister adventure?
Chelsea: Okay.
Stacie: All right.
Skipper: Whoo. [She takes a photo]
Barbie: Guys, don't you wanna see the surprise? [The puppies bark.] Heh. That's the spirit. [They go inside the hotel.] Good morning, ma'am.
Hannah: Ma'am? [Laughs] Please. Everyone calls me Auntie Hannah. What can I do for you?
Barbie: Well, Auntie Hannah, we'd like to rent a car.
Hannah: Reservation?
Barbie: Uh, we don't have one.
Hannah: Oh, dear! Well, most of our cars are already reserved.
Barbie: Oh...
Hannah: But like we say on the island, no worries! I have just the thing for you.
Stacie: Huh?
Chelsea: A golf cart?
[The puppies bark and jump in the back of the cart.]
Stacie: You think there's enough room for all of us?
Skipper: Not for us and our stuff.
Barbie: Hmm... Like Auntie Hannah said, no worries! We just won't take our bags with us.
Chelsea: But, Barbie, I need my bag. It's got my costume, and my backup costume, and my backup backup costume, and my stuffed bunny, and my backup stuffed bunny, and my toothbrush.
Stacie: What? No back-up toothbrush?
[Chelsea makes a face at Stacie.]
Barbie: We'll just send them ahead in the van. We don't need them for the day.
Stacie: Hey, how old do you have to be to drive a golf cart on the island?
Barbie: Nice try. You're not getting a crack at this thing before I do.
Stacie: Eh. Worth a shot.
Chelsea: Barbie, are you sure that thing can even make it?
Barbie: Oh, look, it's even got a cute little horn.
[Barbie beeps the horn. The sisters are all sitting on the cart, with Skipper and Stacie facing backwards.]
Barbie: Hang on. Let's see what this baby can do!
Skipper: Great, I get to go backwards.
Taffy, DJ, Rookie and Honey: Whee! We get to go backwards!
Rookie: Yay!

Scene 4 (Golf cart[]

[Barbie drives the sisters towards their surprise. The puppies look at the beach and the ocean.]
Rookie: Look, a giant sandbox!
Taffy: With an even giant-er pool!
Taffy, DJ, Rookie and Honey: Ooh!
Skipper: So where are we headed?
Barbie: We're looking for the Banyan Tree Park.
Stacie: I read about a hiking path that goes right through the banyan tree.
Chelsea: Why would anyone wanna hike through a tree?
Stacie: Why would anyone not?
[Chelsea makes a face and a mocking sound at Stacie.]
Skipper: Okay, I'll just plug the coordinates into my phone... No reception.
Stacie: What?
Chelsea: No way!
Stacie: Seriously?
Chelsea: Nope, nothing.
Skipper: How are we gonna get there without GPS?
Barbie: We could go old school and use a map. Auntie Hannah must have left it there for us.
[Skipper looks at the map, but her vision gets blurry.]
Skipper: I... I think I'm still a little woozy from the flight.
Stacie: Here, let me see it.
[Barbie swerves and everyone yells.]
Skipper: Road... too... [gags] windy.
Stacie: Shoulda let me drive.
Skipper: Not helping.
[The wind blows the map out of Stacie's hands.]
Stacie: Auntie Hannah wouldn't have left us another map, would she?
Barbie: Why?
Skipper: What did you...? [She sees the map blowing away.] This is why you should keep your map on your phone. Phones don't blow away.
Chelsea: Maybe we should just turn around and head back to the hotel.
Barbie: Relax. It's a small island. It can't be that hard to find.

Scene 5 (Dancing Horse Festival)[]

[A graphic of the map shows the sisters approaching Banyan Tree Park in their golf cart.]
Barbie: Look! Banyan Tree Park.
Stacie: Whoa. The arch is even more amazing in person!
Chelsea: Forget the tree. Are those dancing horses?
Barbie: Surprise!
Chelsea: Cool!
Stacie: What a great surprise, Barbie!
[Skipper smiles.]
Barbie: I knew you guys would like it. I mean, dancing horses, right?
Chelsea: Wow! Check out those moves!
Skipper: I bet Lindsay can't do that.
Barbie: It is pretty impressive.
Honey: Whoa, can all horses dance like that?
Taffy: I don't know. They're the only horses that I've ever seen.
[Barbie parks the golf cart and goes to the puppies.]
Barbie: You guys have been cooped up all day. Why don't you go play while we watch the show?
[The puppies run around. Taffy chases her tail.]
Honey: Sure feels good to stretch our legs. Come on, Taffy, let's play follow the leader.
Rookie: That would be me! I'm a natural born leader. Come on, follow me. Whoa! [Falls over.]
Honey: Smooth move, Rookie.
[Taffy, Rookie and Honey laugh. Music starts playing.]
Rookie: Huh? Whose music is that?
DJ: My own. I move to the beat of my own drum. Oh, yeah. Uh-huh. Mm-hm.
[Taffy, Rookie and Honey laugh. The audience claps at the horse show. Chelsea practices dancing.]
Chelsea: One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
Barbie: Chelsea, you're missing everything.
Chelsea: I'm working on my routine.
Barbie: You don't have to practise every minute. Try and relax.
Chelsea: Okay. I'll try. [She quietly continues practicing.] One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
[A horse trainer named Vivian leads a horse for her performance.]
Vivian: Here's my sweet girl, Beauty, in her debut performance! Her mother, Silver, was our first champion.
[Silver neighs.]
Barbie: Aren't they amazing?
Chelsea: Yeah!
Vivian: Beauty is about to attempt the capriole, the most beautiful leap of the dancing horses.
Chelsea: Aw. She's nervous.
[Silver gives Beauty an encouraging look.]
Chelsea: You can do it, Beauty!
[Beauty becomes determined and leaps through the air.]
Chelsea: Yay!
Beauty: I did it.
Vivian: Let's hear it for Beauty!
[Everyone cheers.]
Barbie: Woohoo! Beauty!
Beauty: Did you see me, Mom? Did you see me?
Silver: You did a great job, Beauty.
Spirit: Not bad for your first time. Now, let me show you how it's really done!
[Silver and Beauty look at each other.]
Vivian: And keeping it in the family, here is Beauty's teenage sister, Spirit, with her rider, my brother, Marco. The piaffe. The canter pirouette.
Barbie: Wow, that's really hard to do.
Vivian: The two tempi.
Stacie: Wow. That looks even harder.
Vivian: And the high-difficulty one tempi.
Skipper: Impressive.
Barbie: The courbette!
[Skipper takes a photo.]
Chelsea: Whoa. Those horses really know how to dance.

Scene 6 (Puppies playing)[]

[Rookie copies Spirit.]
Rookie: Hey, look at me, I'm a dancing horse! Whoa! Ooh. [Rookie falls over.]
DJ: What do you call that move? "Falling pup?"
[Honey copies Spirit.]
Honey: I think I've got it.
Taffy and DJ: Huh?
Rookie: Huh?
Honey: [Losing balance.] Whoa. [She sees a butterfly.] Flutter-by! Ooh!
[The butterfly lands on Honey's nose.]
Taffy, DJ and Rookie: Whoa!
[Honey sneezes. The butterfly flies away.]
Rookie: Where'd it go?
Taffy: There it is!
[The puppies set their sights on the butterfly.]
Rookie: Last one there's rotten kibble!
[The puppies run after the butterfly. Honey is the last to start running.]
Honey: Hey!
Rookie: Wait up, you flutter-by. Aha! There you are.
[The puppies follow the butterfly into a horse trailer that is attached to a car.]
Taffy, DJ, Rookie and Honey: Whoa.
Taffy: What is this place?
DJ, Rookie and Honey: Puppy playground!
Taffy: Wow. Wonder what this is. [Taffy turns on a blender.] Ooh, spinny. [Taffy plays with the blender and laughs. It falls over and a smoothie spills over. Taffy licks it.] Make that cool and delicious!
Honey: [On a sofa.] I'll stick with this. Comfy-cosy.
[DJ plays with a remote control.]
DJ: Shiny buttons. What does this do? [DJ presses a button and a TV turns on.] Awesome!
[A poodle named Archibald interrupts them.]
Archibald: Darlings, darlings, please! All that racket is making my fur ache!
DJ: Huh?
Rookie: Huh?
Taffy: What is this place?
DJ: Do you live here?
Honey: What's your name?
Archibald: [Laughs.] I am Archibald III, and this is my abode.
Rookie: Nice to meet you, Archie.
Archibald: [Laughs.] Oh. Not Archie, my little dumpling. It's Archibald III. I come from a champion line of Archibalds. I myself was Best in Show four times running.
Taffy: What show?
[Rookie makes a "I don't know" noise.]
Archibald: [Laughs.] So precious. [Sits on sofa.]
Rookie: Sure is big for just one dog. You live here all by yourself?
Archibald: Alas, I do now. My litter mates, Archibald IV, Archibald V and Archibald VI have all moved on to the dog pageant circuit.
Taffy: That's a lot of Archibalds.

Scene 7 (After the horse show)[]

Barbie: That was amazing, really. Like, once-in-a-lifetime amazing. I can totally see why you and your brother won so many ribbons.
Vivian: Thank you. It's a lot of hard work, but it's worth it.
Barbie: Do you train on the island year round?
Vivian: Yes. We train horses and dogs. We used to train cats too, but they had a mind of their own.
[Barbie and Vivian laugh.]
Chelsea: Excuse me. You've won a lot of ribbons, huh? Do you have any tips for winning a dance competition?
Marco: Well, Spirit does most of the dancing but I'd say, you've gotta feel the beat, and try to forget about the audience. Just have fun.
Stacie: I'm all about fun. Do you have any tips for the most fun beach?
Marco: That would be White Sands Campground. It's got everything. Surfing, snorkeling...
Stacie: Snorfling?
Marco: Uh, pardon me?
Skipper: Yeah, I don't think that one's gonna catch on, Stacie.
Stacie: We'll see.
Marco: We're staying there the next few nights before heading home.
Stacie: Maybe we'll see you there.
Marco: Cool. See you.
Barbie: Well, we better get going, Marco.
Vivian: Thanks for coming out, guys.
Barbie: Nice meeting you.
Marco: You too.
Chelsea: Okay, back to the hotel. I've got 26 hours left until the competition, and if we get back by dinner, there's still time for me to rehearse on stage tonight.
Stacie: [Gasps.] Wait! Where are the puppies?
[The sisters gasp.]

Scene 8 (Animals in trailer)[]

Archibald: Oh, I wish my tail was naturally poofy. My stylist, Ricardo, he is a...
Beauty: Hey, Archibald. Who are you talking to? [Gasps.]
Archibald: It seems as though I have acquired a pack of pupkins.
Rookie: Hey, look, it's Beauty!
DJ: Wow, you really know how to dance.
Beauty: Why, thank you.
Rookie: Archie, do you dance?
Archibald: Oh, my. Me, dance? No, no. I leave that to the magnificent equines.
Taffy: What's an "equine?"
Honey: What's "magnificent?"
Spirit: Hey, Beauty, what's all the commotion over here?
Beauty: Want to meet my new friends?
[Spirit gasps.]
Rookie: Nice to meet you!
Honey: You were great!
Spirit: I know. I always am.
Taffy, DJ, Rookie and Honey: Can you teach us your moves?
Spirit: Aw. Aren't you adorable?
Silver: How did you get in there?
Beauty: Can they stay and play?
Silver: Hmm... The festival's over. Your girls must be looking for you.
Taffy: Oh, yeah, the girls!
DJ: We should get going.
Rookie: Whoa! Is it me, or are we moving?
[The trailer starts to get driven away. The sisters search for the puppies.]
Stacie: Rookie!
Chelsea: Honey!
Rookie: Hey, somebody stop this thing!
[The puppies bark.]
Chelsea: There they are.
Stacie: Hey, wait up! Stop! Those are our puppies!
Barbie: Stacie, come on, we can catch up to them.
[The sisters get in the golf cart.]
Barbie: Seatbelts, everybody. It's time to see what this thing can really do.
Stacie: They're getting away! No, no, no, no, no!
[Barbie looks at the banyan tree arch.]
Barbie: I know. Shortcut!
Skipper: I don't like the sound of that!
Chelsea: We're not gonna make it.
Barbie: Sure we will! I think.
[The golf cart gets jammed in the tree arch.]
Skipper: Great! We're stuck!
Barbie: No worries, I'll just back it out.
Stacie: Hurry! The trailer's almost gone!
[Barbie tries to reverse, but the golf cart stays stuck.]
Chelsea: You just made it worse!
[Stacie honks the horn and looks at the car.]
Stacie: Hey, wait up!
[The car drives out of the park.]
Stacie: They're gone.
Taffy: We can't leave without the girls.
DJ: What can we do? We're moving too fast to jump out.
Rookie: I'm sure they'll come after us, right?
Archibald: Now, just you hush, my little puppies. I bet your girls are on their way right now.
Rookie: I sure hope so.
[Skipper tries to look at something on her phone.]
Skipper: Oh, still no reception! Looks like we're on our own.
Stacie: What are we gonna do about the puppies?
Barbie: Stacie, do you remember the name of the beach the trainers are going to?
Stacie: White Sands Campground. [Gasps] That's where the puppies are headed!
Barbie: Right. We can hike out to the main road tomorrow and find help.
Chelsea: Tomorrow? But I need to get to the hotel to practise my routine.
Barbie: Sorry, Chels. We should stay put for now. It's getting dark.
Skipper: Barbie's right. We're all too tired anyway.
Stacie: Speak for yourself.
Chelsea: We're really gonna sleep here... and not move?
Barbie: You know, it's not every day you can camp under the island stars.
Chelsea: I guess.

Scene 9 (Night)[]

[In the trailer.]
Honey: It's dark out.
Taffy: Barbie's not here. How's she gonna sleep without me?
Archibald: Now, no frowns, dear pups You'll wrinkle your fur. Your girls will most certainly come find you tomorrow.
Honey: How long until tomorrow?
Taffy: Is it far away?
Archibald: When you wake up, it'll be tomorrow. Until then, you can stay here. My trailer is your trailer.
DJ: We've never had a sleepover before.
Honey: Okay, but just until the girls come get us.
Archibald: Then it's settled. How about we break out the doggy treats?
Taffy, DJ, Rookie and Honey: Treats?!
[At the banyan tree, the sisters are camping near their golf cart.]
Barbie: Auntie Hannah left some water and blankets underneath the seats. She really plans ahead, that one. Like, even more than I do.
Skipper: And that's saying something.
Barbie: [Laughs.] I know, right?
Chelsea: I'm hungry. What's for dinner?
Barbie: Hmm.
Skipper: I still have my sandwich. I was too queasy to eat it on the plane.
Barbie: I have a half-bag of pretzels.
Chelsea: Piece of gum, anyone? Oh, wait, it's already been chewed.
Stacie: Energy bars! What? A girl needs energy for sports. [She throws everyone an energy bar. She laughs.]
Skipper: What's so funny?
Stacie: You won't believe it, but this one's s'more-flavoured!
[They laugh.]
Skipper: It's nothing to blog about, but it's better than foraging for food.
Barbie: Oh, I don't know. I bet we could come up with a blog-worthy shrub and bark salad. Maybe some ant croutons?
Chelsea: Ugh! No, thanks. I bet right now, Lindsay is in her cuddly, warm bed practising.
Stacie: You mean, she's slancing. Anyone?
Skipper: Yeah, I don't think that one's gonna catch on either, Stace.
Stacie: Oh, come on.
Barbie: Hey, you guys remember the game we used to play when we were younger?
Chelsea: How is hopscotch going to help us?
Barbie: No, the What If game. Remember? We'd say "what if," then imagine something super-amazing.
Stacie: I remember, Chelsea's was always the same.
Barbie, Skipper and Stacie: "What if cupcakes were as big as a house?"
Chelsea: It'd be the sweetest home ever.
[They laugh.]
Barbie: Totally. Hey, this is a great time for the Imagination Game. Chels, you go first.
Stacie: And something other than cupcake houses.
Chelsea: Fine. What if... Hmm... this tree was a tree house, with hammocks? [Slaps fly.] Eh. And bug repellent.
Stacie: What if instead of a tiny golf cart, we'd rented a luxury camper?
Barbie: With a fab kitchen stocked with all our faves.
Chelsea: And a dining table three storeys high, so we don't have to eat dinner on the ground with the bugs.
Barbie: [Laughs.] I like that. Stace, what else is in our rockin' dream camper?
Stacie A swimming pool, with a slide. [Stacie imagines going down a slide.] Yeah! Woohoo!
Barbie: Of course. Skipper?
Skipper: A bathroom, with toilet paper and running water.
Barbie: Nice.
Stacie: Can I change my answer?
Chelsea: Me too!
[They laugh. An animal makes noises.]
Chelsea: What was that?
Barbie: It was probably just a macaw.
Skipper, Stacie and Chelsea: Huh?
Barbie: Macaw parrots are the official bird of the island. There's even a legend about the macaw constellation in the sky.
Stacie: How do you know all this stuff?
Barbie: I learned all about the constellations when I interned at the Willows Observatory. The native fishermen would use the macaw constellation to navigate the seas by night. Sounds kind of magical, doesn't it? [She points at the constellation in the sky.] You see the tail? If you follow its feathers up to the tip of its beak, it points to the North Star.
Chelsea: I don't see a macaw. I just see stars.
Stacie: You have to connect the stars. Use your imagination.
Barbie: Can you see the tail?
Stacie: There's the wings!
Chelsea: I see it now!
Barbie: Hear that? He's singing "good night." "Good night. Good night."
Skipper: [Whispering] I bet she made up that last part.
Stacie: Shh. It's working.
[The sisters go to sleep. Thunder booms above them and it starts to rain. Raindrops land on Skipper's face.]
Skipper: Shoo. Huh?
Stacie: Chelsea, you're drooling on me.
Chelsea: I am not.
Barbie, Skipper, Stacie and Chelsea: Rain!
Barbie: To the golf cart, quick.
[Her sisters yell as they get wet.]
Barbie: I hope the puppies are okay.
Chelsea: And not too scared by the storm.
[In the trailer.]
Taffy, DJ, Rookie and Honey: Good night, Archie!
Archibald: Good night, my little pupkins. Sleep tight, and don't wake me until morning. Why, I am an absolute bear without 14 hours of beauty sleep!
[Honey yawns and Archibald lies on the sofa with cucumber slices on his eyes.]
Honey: Good night, Beauty!
[Archibald gets startled by Honey yelling, and falls off the sofa.]
Beauty: Good night, puppies!
[Archibald groans and lies back down.]
Honey: Good night, Silver!
[Archibald gets startled again.]
Silver: Good night, Honey.
[Archibald groans.]

Scene 10 (Sisters wake up)[]

[In the morning, the girls are asleep in the golf cart. Skipper is snoring. They wake up when they hear Stacie eating energy bars.]
Skipper and Chelsea: Hmm?
Barbie: Huh?
Stacie: Breakfast, anyone? It's blueberry granola crunch.
Barbie: I slept great.
Skipper: Ugh, really?
Barbie: No, but I'm trying to convince my body I did. [Laughs.]
Skipper: Let us know how that works out for you, okay?
Chelsea: Rain's stopped. Twelve hours until the competition, but first, we gotta save the puppies. Let's get moving, people!
Barbie: You heard her. We've got a mission. Let's go.
Stacie: Hey, Chels, heads up.
[Stacie throws Chelsea an energy bar.]
Barbie: So we'll hike up to the main road, find help, get the pups, and head back to the hotel. Easy-peasy.
Stacie: Hike and rescue sounds good to me. Or should I say a hikescue?
Barbie: Uh, maybe not.
Stacie: Okay, fine, not my best.
Chelsea: [Practicing dancing] One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
Barbie: Don't wear yourself out, Chels. The competition's not for a while still.
Chelsea: I won't. One, two, three, four, five, six.
Skipper: [Checking her phone] Still no bars!
Barbie: We should be able to call for help from the main road.
[They see part of the road is missing.]
Skipper: [Gasps] The road's washed out.
Stacie: How are we gonna get out of here?
Skipper: Just when I thought the day couldn't get any better.
Chelsea: We don't have time for this.
Barbie: It's okay. We got this. There has to be another way out. Hmm... [She looks around and points at a distant mountain.] There!
Skipper: We're going to hike that?!
Barbie: Why not?
Chelsea: This doesn't seem easy or peasy.

Scene 11 (Animals wake up)[]

[In the trailer, the dogs and horses are starting to wake up.]
Archibald: Another blue ribbon? Oh, I'm not worthy. Oh, fiddledeedee, what am I saying? Of course I am. [Taffy wags her tail in his face.] Ooh! Oh, the little scamps.
Honey: Is it tomorrow?!
Archibald: No, it's today!
Honey: Are you sure it's today? Because you said, when we woke up, it would be tomorrow.
Archibald: Well, of course! Yesterday, today was tomorrow, but now, tomorrow's today.
Rookie: Huh?
DJ: Are you sure?
Archibald: Today is always today, unless you're talking about it in the future; then it's tomorrow! And tomorrow is... yesterday if it's in the past? Eh, something like that.
Rookie: If you say so.
Honey: [To Taffy, through gritted teeth] So does that mean it's today or tomorrow?
[Taffy makes a "I don't know" sound." Marco and Vivian notice the puppies. Vivian gasps.]
Marco: Huh? Looks like we've got a couple of stowaways. [The puppies whine.] Don't worry. We'll take care of you until we can get you back with the girls.
[The puppies bark happily.]

Scene 12 (Hiking)[]

Chelsea: How much further?
Stacie: We just started up the mountain.
Chelsea: Are you sure? It feels like we've been walking forever.
Barbie: We just have to get over the top. Piece of cake.
Chelsea: Cake? I miss cake. Almost as much as I miss Honey.
Barbie: I know, Chels. I miss Taffy too. Uh-oh!
[They find a dead end. There is a tall cliffside blocking their way.]
Skipper: I didn't realise we were scaling Everest on this vacation.
Barbie: Come on, Skipper, it's not that a steep.
Chelsea: We gotta try! [Barbie helps Chelsea to climb, but she falls back down.] It is too steep. You got a plan for how we're going to get up?
Barbie: There's always a way. [She grabs a vine that is attached to the top of the cliffside.] How about this? This should hold us.
Skipper: Um...
Stacie: Prepare to be amazed! Yeah. [She fist bumps Barbie and then climbs the cliff.]
Barbie: See? No problem.
Stacie: Nailed it! Come on, guys.
Skipper: So I guess we are climbing Everest.
Barbie: Up you go, Chels. You too, Skipper.
Skipper: Heh. That's okay, Barbie. You can go first.
Barbie: I'm not going until you're all up there safely.
Skipper: Ugh... [She climbs alongisde Chelsea, who's climbing a different vine.] It looked so much easier when Stacie did it.
Stacie: You got this!
Barbie: You can do it, Skipper.
Chelsea: That was no piece of cake.
Barbie: Here I come. [She slips.] Whoa.
[Skipper grabs Barbie's arm.]
Skipper: We got you.
[Skipper, Stacie and Chelsea help Barbie up.]
Barbie: Thanks for the help.
Skipper: No problem. [Takes group selfie.] Hashtag "sisters rock."
Stacie: Anyone up for another energy bar?
Skipper: I hope the pups are eating better than we are.

Scene 13 (Breakfast)[]

[Marco and Vivian finish feeding the puppies.]
Marco: Well, that's the last of the eggs and bacon.
Vivian: [Laughs] Where do they put it all?
[Rookie burps.]
Archibald: Oh, I don't think I could possibly eat another bite... Oh, who am I kidding? [Rookie eats his bacon.] My... bacon...
Rookie: Mm, om nom.
Beauty: Spirit's about ready to take me for a run. Want to join us?
Taffy: Maybe we should just wait here for the girls.
Silver: We'll be sure to let them know where to find you.
Spirit: You coming or not?
Rookie: Race you!
Beauty: Come on!
Silver: Have fun, kids.
Taffy: Wait up!
[Honey makes a noise as she gets up. She's uncomfortable because she ate so much.]
Rookie: Last one there is a rotten egg! [Laughs]
Honey: Did you have to mention food?

Scene 14 (Zip-lining)[]

[A graphic of the map appears, showing the puppies at a campsite by the sea. Barbie and her sisters are shown on a mountain far away.]
Skipper: Ugh, after this, I'm never gonna eat another energy bar. No matter what flavour it is.
Chelsea: I don't even want to look at one.
Skipper: I'd rather eat the wrapper.
Barbie: [Holds up handful of wrappers.] Really? Because we can arrange that if you want. Whoa! [Barbie almost falls off a cliff.]
Skipper: Wow, that's a long way down.
Barbie: Well, it's a nice view, anyway.
Stacie: What are those buildings over there?
Barbie: Huh. Looks like a village. Maybe someone there can help us.
Skipper: Uh, how are we gonna get over there?
Barbie: Well, I don't see an elevator or anything. Maybe we can find another vine or something.
Skipper: A vine? Down that cliff?
Barbie: Yup.
Skipper: Heh. Really hoping for an elevator option.
Chelsea: [She pulls a vine and falls] Whoa.
Barbie: Chelsea, not so close to the edge. Why don't you check over there?
[Stacie sees a zipline in the distance and gasps. She finds a nearby building.] That's what I'm talking about. I found something. Help me out here!
[Stacie and Skipper move leaves out the way of the building's door.]
Chelsea: What is it?
Barbie: Hmm. Must be a camp here in the busy season.
Stacie: Woohoo! [She comes out the building holding helmets.] We're zip-lining down!
Skipper: We're zip-lining down?!
Chelsea: No fancy new name for it?
Stacie: Nope! [Laughs] I'm too excited!
Barbie: Uh, shouldn't we do some kind of safety check first?
Stacie: Yup, and I'm on it. [She starts zip-lining.]
Barbie, Skipper and Chelsea: Wait!
Stacie: Woo! Woohoo! Oh, yeah! This is great! [Yelling from the other side] Checked it, and it's safe!
Barbie: See? Totally fine. Ready, Chels? Break a leg.
Chelsea: You know saying break a leg is just an expression, right? You're not supposed to actually try and break your leg.
Barbie: I know. I'm just kidding. You'll be fine.
Chelsea: [Zip-lining] Woo! This is awesome. Woohoo! [Finishes] That was so fun.
Stacie: I know, right?
Barbie: [Zip-lining] Woo! [laughs]
Chelsea: Perfect landing.
Stacie: We can leave our gear here.
Skipper: Guys, wait for me!
Stacie: Come on, Skipper! Let's go!
Chelsea: We're gonna be late for my competition!
Barbie: Skipper! Skipper! Skipper!
Skipper: I'm coming, I'm coming. [The zip-line creaks.] This thing rusted or something? Yeah. Let's go to an island on a tiny, bumpy plane. Let's go driving on a windy road backwards in a golf cart. Let's go down a rickety old zip line. Sister adventure? More like sister torture!
Stacie: Come on, Skipper!
Skipper: Okay. One, two, three! Whoa! Okay, maybe this isn't that bad. [Laughs and then looks down. She screams.] Whoa. It... It stopped. Why did it stop?
Stacie: Swing your legs! You have to get your momentum going again!
Skipper: I can't.
Stacie: Okay, enjoy the view, then.
Barbie: You can do it. Think of the hotel. The room service, the comfy chair, the Wi-Fi.
Barbie, Stacie and Chelsea: Skipper! Skipper! Skipper!
[Skipper makes noises while swinging her legs. She gets her momentum back and makes it to the end.]
Barbie: You made it.
Skipper: Yeah, but one of you guys has to go back. I think I left my stomach at the top of the mountain. I'm just gonna rest here for a sec.
Barbie: I'm sorry, Skipper, but we have to keep on going. The village is just up that path. We can get help there.
Skipper: You know vacations are supposed to be relaxing, right?

Scene 15 (Village)[]

[A graphic of a map appears. It shows the mountain, the zipline down to it, and then the village.]
Barbie: [Gasps] We're there.
Chelsea: Yay!
Stacie: Smoothies! Aw. It's closed.
Chelsea: A dress shop! It's closed too. Everything's closed.
Skipper: Anyone see a place that sells couches? Maybe a place to charge my phone?
Stacie: If there is one, it's probably closed too.
Barbie: There is a bench over there.
Chelsea: This is it? This is your big plan, Barbie?
Barbie: So it's not quite what we were expecting, but it's something.
[Skipper, Stacie and Chelsea sit on the bench.]
Chelsea: Yeah. Instead of being stuck in a tree, now we're stuck in a village.
Barbie: Not necessarily. [She runs to a reception.] Hello?
Anna: Can I help you?
Barbie: Auntie Hannah?
Anna: [Laughs] I'm Auntie Anna. I see you met my sister at the airport.
Barbie: Oh. You wouldn't happen to have anything available, would you? Our golf cart's stuck in the Banyan Tree Arch.
Anna: [Laughs] No worries. That happens more often than you think. I'll let Hannah know.
Barbie: Great. I need a car for me and my sisters. We have to pick up our pups at the White Sands Campground.
Chelsea: And get back to the hotel in time for my dance competition tonight.
Anna: Well, let's see what I have available for rent. Hmm... We don't have much left, but we do have this. [She shows them a pink golf cart.]
Barbie: Hmm..
Anna: Or that. [She shows a purple golf cart.]
Skipper: Great, another golf cart.
Anna: Hmm... Or this one.
Chelsea: Yeah, we get it. You have a bunch of golf carts.
Anna: [Laughs] Well, I actually meant this.
[Barbie, Skipper, Stacie and Chelsea gasp when they see a luxury camper.]
Barbie: Check it out, it's the rockin' dream camper from our What If game!
Skipper: Yes!
Stacie: Woohoo.
Skipper: Auntie Anna, I could hug you.
Barbie: It's a tough choice, but I think we'll take this one.
[Anna winks at Barbie.]
Stacie: The seats are so comfy!
Barbie: Look at this kitchen. I can practically smell cupcakes baking.
Chelsea: You think it comes with cupcakes?
Skipper: [Gasps] There's a bathroom too! [Flushes toilet]
[Barbie and Chelsea laugh.]
Barbie: See? A positive attitude changes everything. Now, let's find those pups.
Chelsea: Yay!

Scene 16 (Puppies and Marco)[]

[The puppies run with Beauty and Spirit, but can't keep up,]
Rookie: Come on, we can catch them! [Panting]
Honey: They're too fast!
Taffy: Hey, maybe he can take us. [Taffy look at Marco, who is riding Silver.] Quick, everybody give him cute puppy eyes.
DJ: And don't forget to whimper.
[The puppies whimper and look at Marco with endearing expressions.]
Taffy: [Quietly, to Honey] He can't resist.
Marco: Wanna ride?
Taffy: Gets 'em every time!

Scene 17 (Luxury camper)[]

Stacie: Sure you don't want me to drive?
Barbie: Are you kidding? I was born to drive this thing.
Anna: Here's your map.
Barbie: Thanks.
Stacie: You'd better give us two of those.
Anna: [Laughs and points at map.] The White Sands Campgrounds is here, just past the cove.
Barbie: Thanks so much, Auntie Anna.
Anna: If you get lost getting back from there, just remember, your hotel is the northernmost tip of the island.
Barbie: Thanks again. Bye.
Anna: Bye-bye.
Barbie: Puppies, here we come!
Chelsea: Pedal to the metal! We've only got three hours till curtain!
Skipper: Wake me up when we get there.
Barbie: All right. It won't be long now!

Scene 18 ("Let Your Hair Down")[]

["Let Your Hair Down" plays over a montage of the sisters driving and the puppies playing. Barbie gets lost while driving. A graphic of the map shows Barbie driving in circles.]
Barbie: All right. We're finally on the right road. Nothing can stop us now.
[Tire pops.]
Skipper, Stacie and Chelsea: Oh, no!
Barbie: Oh, except that. [She gets a tool for the tire.] Easy-peasy.
[The puppies hula dance. Barbie changes the tire.]

Scene 19 (Rookie in mask)[]

[Rookie walks by the puppies wearing a snorkeling mark.]
Taffy: Huh? What are you doing, Rookie?
Rookie: We're missing the good waves. Come on, Taff.
Taffy: But what if I forget how to swim?
Honey: You'll be fine. Just remember what Mom taught you.
[Taffy remembers swimming with her mom, Tiffany.]
Taffy: Last one in's rotten kibble!
Honey: Yeah!

Scene 20 (Barbie driving)[]

[Stacie sees a sign.]
Stacie: Hey, White Sands Campground!
Barbie: Phew. We're almost there. As soon as we pass the cove, we'll be at the campground. Finally.
Chelsea: Yay!
Skipper: Yahoo! [The car runs out of gas.] You've got to be kidding.
Chelsea: How can we be out of gas. Didn't you check?
Barbie: Hey, the camper got us this far; we just need to find a way to the cove.
Skipper: Here we go again.
Chelsea: We're running out of time!
Stacie: No worries. We made it.
Skipper: What?
Stacie: Skipper, turn around.
[Barbie and Chelsea gasp when they see the horse trailer.]
Skipper: There's the horse trailer.
Barbie: Puppies, here we come!
[The girls go down to the trailer.]
Stacie: No sign of the pups.
Chelsea: No sign of horses.
Barbie: Hmm, no sign of the trainers either.
Chelsea: Where is everyone? We don't have time for this!
[The girls find the puppies' campsite.]
Skipper: What?
Barbie: They're not here.
Stacie: We'll head down the beach a bit and see if we can find Vivian and Marco. Come on, Skip. [Runs away.]
Skipper: Could you just wait a second?! [She follows Stacie.]
Barbie: Okay, Chelsea and I will wait here in case they come back.
Barbie: I don't get it. They said they we're going to White Sands Beach. They have to be here somewhere. They couldn't be anywhere else, could they?
Chelsea: Even when we find the puppies, we're probably going to miss the competition.
Barbie: Don't say that. We'll get you there.
Chelsea: You keep saying that! Under a tree, on a zip line, in a camper without gas! No matter what happens, you keep saying everything's going to be fine!
Barbie: But it is going to be fine.
Chelsea: But what if it isn't? What if after everything, we came all this way and I don't get to do my routine? That would just... Just stink!
Barbie: But what if you do get to do your routine?
Chelsea: Stop! Stop trying to make things better! Sometimes, they just stink!
Barbie: You're right. This is a pretty stinky situation. What if...?
Chelsea: Not another What If game.
Barbie: I know things haven't exactly gone as planned but no one can control what's going to happen all the time. Not even me.
Chelsea: That stinks.
Barbie: Yeah, it does. Hey, so how about instead of thinking of the most amazing thing that could happen--'cause clearly, that ship has sailed--we think of the most awful think that could happen. I bet you'd be pretty good at the Everything Stinks game.
Chelsea: Okay.
Barbie: I'll start. What if a giant submarine comes out of the water right now and the captain tells you you have to live underwater from now on?
Chelsea: That would stink, but it might be kind of fun too. Okay, I have one: What if a giant octopus-shark leaps out of the ocean and tries to eat us.
Barbie: [Laughs] That would stink, but we'd have a great story to tell. What if the puppies became giants and we were their pets now?
Chelsea: [Laughs] That would be weird, but at least we'd still be together. What if it takes so long to find them, we don't make it back in time for the competition?
Barbie: Yeah, that would stink... but you could still show us your routine. Or do it at another competition. What if you could never stop doing your routine and you had to keep dancing forever?
Chelsea: That would stink, but I guess I'd have it down then. What if we make it to the competition, but I forget a dance step? Or the whole thing?
Barbie: You're the only one who would know. You could play it off and keep going.
Chelsea: What if I really mess up... in front of everyone? What if I lose?
Barbie: Just because you mess up, doesn't mean you fail. Getting out there and doing your best is all that matters. [They hug.]
[Stacie and Skipper stop running.]
Skipper: Would you just slow down?
Stacie: Why don't you just keep up, Skipper? [Skipper gasps.] We need to find those puppies!
Skipper: I think we already have. [She turns Stacie towards the sea and gasps.]
Barbie: [Looks at the sea.] What if the puppies learned to surf?
Chelsea: Are we back in the game now?
Barbie: No, look!
Taffy: Hey, this is fun!
DJ: Surfing rules! Yeah! Look, it's the girls!
Stacie: No way. They're snorfling!
[The puppies bark.]
Skipper: Huh. I guess that one does work.
[The puppies reach the shore.]
Rookie: I knew you'd come!
Chelsea: Oh, Honey, I've missed you! [Laughs]
Stacie: That was righteous, Rookie. [Rookie licks Stacie.]
Skipper: Come here, you. [DJ licks Skipper. She laughs and takes a selfie.] Hashtag "puppy love."
[Everyone laughs with their puppies.]
Marco: Hey, the girls are here.
Archibald: Alas, the girls have arrived.
Beauty: Oh, does that mean the puppies are going?
Archibald: I'm afraid so.
[The girls laugh with their puppies.]
Barbie: Hi, guys. Thanks for taking care of the puppies.
Marco: No problem. It was our pleasure.
[The girls laugh with their puppies.]
Stacie: Rookie!
Skipper: Oh, DJ!
Vivian: I'm glad you all made it. I was starting to worry.
Barbie: Yeah. It took a little longer than we planned.
Skipper: Heh. Don't ask, it's a long story.
Barbie: Turns out, shortcuts? Not always so short.
[Laughing.]
Vivian: Chelsea, isn't your dance competition tonight?
Chelsea: It is, but we don't have any way to get there, so...
Vivian: You do now. Marco, let's round up the horses and get everyone in the trailer.
Chelsea: [Gasps] Really?!
Stacie: That's great!
Barbie: Awesome.
Skipper: Woo!
[Everyone goes to the trailer.]

Scene 21 (Going to competition)[]

[A graphic shows them driving to the competition.]
Skipper: Oh, I don't feel so good. [Gags]
Chelsea: How much further?
Vivian: We're going as fast as we can, but this road is kind of windy.
Skipper: You think?! Whoa!
[Everyone yells as Vivian goes around a corner.]
Vivian: Sorry, guys! You better hang on tight.
[Archibald yells. At the competition, people are chattering.]
Savannah: Girls, girls! Everyone, be sure to sign in and take your places! We're about to start.
[On the road.]
Vivian: Oh, no.
Chelsea: Why are we stopping?
[Everyone gets out the car.]
Skipper: Huh? Are we there yet?
Vivian: The bridge is washed out.
Stacie: How is this possible?
Vivian: We're going to have to go back around the other way. I'm sorry, Chelsea, but that means we won't make it in time for your dance competition.
Chelsea: But we're so close.
Beauty: Chelsea looks worried. Why'd we stop, Mom?
Silver: The trailer can't make it over the bridge. That poor girl isn't gonna be able to get to her show.
Spirit: Hmm... Mom, we can get them there!
[The horses neigh in the trailer. Marco notices them and smiles.]
Marco: You know, we can't take you across, but I think I know someone who can.
[At the competition.]
Savannah: This next dancer definitely knows how to heat up the dance floor. Who's ready for some flaming batons?
Audience: Ooh.
Woman: I do love flaming batons.
[On the road.]
Marco: The horses will be able to get you across the bridge.
Barbie: I don't know how we can thank you.
Chelsea: How about a hug? [She hugs Vivian.]
Vivian: You just get back there in time for your competition.
[Chelsea hugs Marco.]
Marco: And remember, have fun. [Vivian hugs Barbie.] We'll wait here until you get safely across.
[The girls go to get on their horses. The are in pouches attached to the horses. Taffy is in Spirit's pouch, DJ and Rookie are in Silver's pouch, and Honey is in Beauty's pouch.]
Barbie: [Helps Chelsea onto Beauty] There you go, Chels.
Stacie: [Getting onto Silver] I call frontsies!
Skipper: Fine, but no wild ride.
[Skipper struggles to get on Silver. Stacie helps her.]
Stacie: Up and at them!
Barbie: [Gets on Spirit easily.] I learned that when I was a junior stable girl one summer in Willows. Ready?
Skipper, Stacie and Chelsea: Ready!
[Taffy barks. Spirit neighs and runs.]
Taffy: We got this! [Spirit jumps over the bridge.] Ride 'em, cow dog!
Barbie: Good job, Spirit.
Skipper, Stacie and Chelsea: Yes! Yay!
Barbie: Who's next?
Stacie: We'll go.
DJ: Come on, Silver!
Skipper: Can I change my mind?
Stacie: Hiyah!
[Skipper yells.]
Stacie: Yeah!
Skipper: Did we make it? Oh, phew.
Barbie: You're next, Chelsea!
[Beauty is too scared to jump over the bridge.]
Barbie: You can do it!
Chelsea: Just have to get over the bridge. Please. We're so close.
Honey: You can do it, Beauty.
Beauty: Yeah, we got this.
[Beauty jumps over the bridge.]
Chelsea: We did it, Beauty.
Barbie, Skipper and Stacie: Yeah! Way to go, Chelsea!
Stacie: Woo!
Vivian: All right, you girls, we'll go around and meet you at the show.
Barbie / Skipper / Stacie / Chelsea: Bye! Goodbye! Thank you so much! Thank you!
Chelsea: Come on, let's ride!
[They all go towards the competition.]

Scene 22 (Competition)[]

[A girl with a bun pretends to be a dying fly on stage.]
Woman: Way to go, honey! Woohoo!
Savannah: What a wonderful interpretive dance on the life cycle of the tsetse fly.
[Barbie and her sisters come to a crossroads.]
Chelsea: Why does this keep happening?
Skipper: Which way?
Barbie: Uh... That way.
[At the competition, a girl does irish dancing.]
Savannah: Thank you for that wonderful Irish interpretation, Jenny. Next up, Lindsay.
[Barbie and her sisters travel to the competition.]
Barbie: The stage has gotta be just over this hill. [The reach the end of the hill and see banyan tree park.] No.
Skipper: It can't be!
Stacie: How?
Chelsea: We're back at the banyan tree. This stinks! What do we do now?
Skipper: Yeah, what's our next crazy plan to get out of here?
Barbie: I... I don't know.
Stacie: But you always have a plan.
Skipper: Yeah, where's your over-the-top optimism?
Barbie: I don't know what else to do.
Chelsea: Are we really not gonna make it?
Barbie: I'm sorry, Chels. You were right, you all were. We should have just gone straight to the hotel. None of this would've ever happened if I hadn't insisted on going to the horse festival. I messed up.
Chelsea: Just because you mess up doesn't mean you fail. As long as you get out there and do your best, that's all that matters.
Barbie: Yeah, but you guys count on me to know what to do, and I don't always know. Half the time, I was just as scared as you.
Stacie: You could have let us know you were scared too.
Skipper: Yeah, Barbie, we'd get it.
Chelsea: We're sisters. You can tell us when you're worried.
Barbie: I'm sorry I ruined your trip. I know how important your dance competition was to you, Chelsea. And, Stacie, I know you wanted to do all those island sports. And, Skipper, you just wanted to relax and enjoy some island Wi-Fi. Some vacation.
Stacie: You know, if it wasn't for the bad things that happened, we never would have had this adventure together. I mean, who else got to see the island from everywhere?
Chelsea: And I did learn some new moves at the Dancing Horse Festival.
Skipper: I guess it was kind of fun... when I wasn't plane sick. Or golf-cart sick. Or zip-line sick.
Barbie: Really?
Stacie: I mean, it would have been more fun with the pups.
Skipper: And Wi-Fi.
Chelsea: And cupcakes.
Stacie: But, yeah. I just hope the pups had as good of a time as we did.
Rookie: Better!
DJ: We rocked this island!
Honey: We sure did!
Taffy: Best vacation ever!
Chelsea: I guess we're stuck camping under the stars for another night. Should we play the What If game again?
[Barbie looks at the stars and sees a constellation.]
Barbie: [Gasps] That's it!
Skipper: What's it?
Barbie: The stars. Remember what Auntie Anna said about the location of the hotel?
Stacie: It's north.
Chelsea: Just like the macaw constellation points to the North Star! Hey, you're not the only one who knows stuff about stuff.
[Barbie and Chelsea laugh and hug.]
Barbie: Come on, girls. We can follow the macaw constellation like the native fishermen used to use it to find their way home.
Chelsea: But how are we ever going to get there in time?
Barbie: Don't worry. I know a shortcut.
Skipper: Another shortcut?
Barbie: [Points at the sky.] Yeah, but this time we have a map we can't lose!
[At the competition.]
Savannah: Now here's Lindsay with her take on an old classic.
[Lindsay tap dances to jazz music and the audience makes impressed sounds. She finishes and they clap and cheer.]
Chelsea: Are we gonna make it?
Barbie: We've gotta try.
Stacie: With these horses and those stars, it's our best chance of getting you there in time!
Savannah: Chelsea Roberts? Chelsea Roberts? [Audience murmurs.] Chelsea Roberts? Last call for Chelsea Roberts!
[On the road, the sisters come to a hill.]
Barbie: Whoa!
Chelsea: The competition! We're gonna make it! And we might even have time to change too.
Barbie: Let's go, girls! Chelsea has a show to do.
Savannah: [Looks around.] All performers present have now completed their routines. The competition is now closed, and we have chosen a winner.
[The sisters arrive before Lindsay gets handed the trophy.]
Chelsea: Wait! I'm here! Chelsea Roberts. Sorry, I'm late.
Savannah: I'm terribly sorry, Miss Roberts, but you're too late. I'm about to announce the winner.
[The audience murmurs.]
Rookie: Quick, give her puppy eyes.
[The puppies whimper and make their eyes bigger.]
Chelsea: Please?
Savannah: Oh... oh... [Laughs] I suppose we can make an exception. Everyone deserves a chance to compete.
Lindsay: Mmhm.
Chelsea: Yes! Thank you, thank you!
Rookie: Gets 'em every time.
[The puppies fist bump.]
Barbie and Vivian: You made it! [They laugh.]
Barbie: Chelsea is about to go on! [Chelsea goes on stage.] All right, Chelsea!
Stacie: Go, Chels! Show them how it's done!

Scene 23 (Chelsea's dance)[]

<poem> [Beauty neighs at Chelsea. Chelsea starts dancing but stumbles. The audience gasps. She stumbles again and Barbie encourages her. Chelsea falls over. The audience reacts. Chelsea stands still and looks at the audience. Beauty joins Chelsea on stage and stamps her hoof repeatedly. The audience claps along with Beauty's stomping.] Barbie: You can do this. Chelsea: Yeah, I got this! Hit it, auntie. [The "Live in the Moment" instrumental starts to play. Chelsea dances.] Chelsea: I could really use a partner, Beauty. [Beauty neighs and dances with Chelsea. The audience reacts.] Spirit: I'm gonna have to show her how it's really done. Barbie: Spirit, wait! [Spirit jumps on stage. Barbie follows her.] Beauty: Go, Spirit! Spirit: Not bad, Beauty. Barbie: Hi. [Laughs] Chelsea: Come on! [Barbie dances with her. Beauty and Spirit jump.] Yeah! Rookie: I can do that! DJ: Oh, yeah, gonna get my groove on. [DJ and Rookie run on stage.] Skipper: DJ, stop! Stacie: Rookie, no! [The puppies run on to the stage. Skipper, Stacie and Silver follow them. The puppies dance while Skipper, Stacie and Silver stand on the side of the stage.] Skipper: What do we do now? [Chelsea motions for them to join.] Stacie: We dance. [They all join in.] Rookie: Hey, Archie! Taffy: Come on up and dance with us! Archibald: Oh, my little dumplings, you know I don't dance. Honey: You're already tapping your paw. DJ: And your tail is waggling to the beat. Taffy: Come dance with us. Archibald: But I've never won a Best in Dance ribbon. DJ: It doesn't matter. Anyone can dance. Taffy: Yeah! Archibald: Hmm... [He joins in.] Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I've got it. I've got it. DJ: I, uh, kind of like his moves. Honey: Me too! Taffy: Let's all do the Archie. Archibald: Coming through! Look at me now! Let's do the Archie! Woohoo! Genius! Why, listen to the applause. How have I never made dancing part of my repertoire? This is amazing. [Song: Let it go, lose control (let it go, go) We gotta live in the moment, moment Ooh, you gotta live in the moment, moment (live in the moment) Ooh, (ooh) you gotta live in the moment, moment] [Chelsea finishes dancing and the crowd cheers and claps. Lindsay whispers something to the Savannah.] Savannah: Wow, Miss Roberts. What an amazing show of choreography. Your dance was both expressive and surprising. Your use of horses, and puppies, and your sisters, was extremely creative. In consideration of such an inventive and entertaining performance, and with Lindsay's enthusiastic support, the judges have agreed to award you the winner's trophy. [Chelsea gasps.] Lindsay: That was awesome, Chelsea. You totally deserve to win. Go ahead. It's yours. Chelsea: Thank you. Lindsay: Don't get me wrong. I plan on winning it back at the next competition. Chelsea: You can try! [They laugh.] Skipper: Yeah! Barbie: Woohoo! Stacie: Awesome! Vivian: Yeah! Marco: All right! [The puppies bark and the horses neigh.] Chelsea: I couldn't have done it without my sisters, Barbie, Skipper and Stacie. Skipper: Thanks, Chels. Stacie: Way to go, Chelsea! Chelsea: [Laughs] And Beauty, Spirit and Silver. And Honey, DJ, Rookie and Taffy. And the trainers, Marco and Vivian. And that amazing poodle who dances kind of weird. Archibald: Hmm? Chelsea: And of course, Lindsay and all my fellow dancers. And my Auntie... Skipper: Auntie Anna? Stacie: Auntie Hannah? Savannah: It's Auntie Savannah. I see you've met my sisters. Hannah and Anna: We're glad you finally made it! Barbie: [Laughs] So, what if you fall on your face and still win the competition? Chelsea: I guess I'd have to thank my sisters for showing me how. [Archibald turns on the music. "Live in the Moment" plays. Barbie, Chelsea and Lindsay laugh.] Lindsay: How about you show me those moves? ["Live in the Moment" plays. Barbie, Chelsea, Lindsay, Skipper, Stacie, Hannah, Anna, Savannah, Taffy, DJ, Rookie, Honey, Silver, Spirit, Beauty, Vivian, Marco dance on stage. The macaw constellation is shown and the credits play while Skipper's selfies are shown. Music from the score also plays.]
