Adele is a character in Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures. She is voiced by Tara Sands. Adele is the aunt of Barbie, Skipper, Stacie and Chelsea. Adele lives in Willows, Wisconsin and she owns Windy Willows inn.
Story[]
Pre-Dreamhouse Adventures[]
When Barbie was young, she practically grew up at the Windy Willows inn. Barbie wanted a cat for a long time, so Adele got her a kitten. Adele described the kitten as "blissful", so Barbie named her Blissa. For Adele's birthday one year, Margaret and George gifted Adele an electric juicer, but she never used it because she is old-fashioned.
Season 3[]
In "The Ballad of Windy Willows", Barbie, Daisy and Blissa visit Willows to see Adele at Windy Willows inn. The inn has no other customers except for Harry Havarti, who is supposed to perform at a show there. If the show doesn't go well and bring in customers, the inn will have to close down. Barbie and Daisy try to keep him pleased, but he quits after being repeatedly disappointed. After Adele slips and hurts her leg in an accident involving the electric juicer spraying juice on the floor, Barbie and Daisy try to help Adele and modernize the inn. However, the power goes out while they plan a dance party to replace Harry's performance. Barbie is sad she couldn't fix Adele's problems, so Adele suggests an acoustic performance. Barbie and Daisy perform a ballad named "Lead You Home", and they receive a standing ovation. The inn becomes popular and Adele decides to have acoustic shows every weekend.
In "A Dog's Day in Court", the Roberts are at risk of being evicted because of the Reardons sabotaging them. They have the right to appear before the city council and plead their case. In court, Barbie tells her family to stall while she finds proof of their innocence. George stalls by rambling about Blissa and Adele, to the point where the council is bored to sleep. Barbie finds proof that Poppy sabotaged them, so Poppy resigns from the city council and the Roberts are saved from being evicted.
Physical Appearance[]
Adele is a woman with light brunette hair, blue eyes and light skin. She has her hair in a bun with a red headband. She has wrinkles around her eyes. Adele wears an orange top with a gray undershirt, burgundy pants, and black shoes. She also wears hoop earrings, a necklace and a beaded bracelet. Adele heavily resembles Margaret; they both wear their hair in high buns and have highlights and lowlights.
Personality[]
Adele is polite and considerate. She works hard to please her customers and likes others to relax while she takes care of things. Adele is old-fashioned and is hesitant to use modern technology.
