École Montagne is a horse-riding academy in Barbie & Her Sisters in A Pony Tale. It is located in the Swiss Alps and it is owned by Bridgette Cheynet. One of her sons, Philippe, is the riding master. Her other son Etienne works at Alpine Academy, a nearby rival school. Two of the students at the academy are Theo and Albain. Jonas was also a student at the academy until he was excluded by Philippe.
Story[]
Barbie Roberts, Skipper Roberts, Stacie Roberts and Chelsea Roberts visit their aunt Marlene's Alpine Riding Academy for the summer. Ecole Montagne is nearby. Skipper tries to film Stacie getting on a horse for the first time, but Stacie falls off. Jonas, Albain and Theo from Ecole Montagne see Stacie fall and laugh at her. The girls' cousin, Max, says the boys were just antagonising them because of the upcoming Inter-Academy Equestrian Tournament. Max's twin Marie adds that Alpine Academy usually loses to Ecole Montagne.
Before the tournament, Marlene reveals to Skipper that she may have to sell Alpine due to low enrolment. Marlene received an offer from Bridgette Cheynet of Ecole Montagne. Marlene believes it was the idea of Philippe, Ecole Montagne's riding master. Philippe is Bridgette's son and he is resentful of his brother Etienne for coming to work at Alpine. Marlene tells Skipper that she will have to sell Alpine if they lose to Ecole Montagne in the tournament.
During the first day of tournament, Chelsea wins her event and Skipper wins against Jonas in dressage. Stacie loses to Stephanie Coda and King's Cross of Ecole Montagne, so Ecole Montagne and Alpine Academy are tied. That evening, Philippe sabotages Alpine by unlocking a horse corral. Chelsea tries to ride one of the horses unsupervised, and the horse panics. People go outside when they hear Chelsea screaming. The horse begins kicking and breaks Etienne's arm. The horse kicks the corral door open and several horses escape.
Barbie, Skipper and Jonas track down the horses. Philippe feels betrayed by Jonas and tells him not to come back to Ecole Montagne. Philippe wants to win the tournament so the that the Alpine land will belong to Ecole Montagne and he can freely search for the Majestique, a legendary herd of fast wild horses. Philippe wants to profit off the Majestiques. Barbie has befriended one of the Majestiques and named her Majesty, but she wants to keep the Majestiques a secret so that Philippe won't exploit them.
Due to Etienne's broken arm, he can't ride for Alpine in the tournament's final race. Barbie decides to ride Majesty for the race, and she competes against Philippe and his horse Hurricane. Philippe sabotages his competitors during the race, but he still loses to Barbie and Majesty. Ecole Montagne loses the tournament to Alpine Academy.
