Character names from Barbie movies that have been changed in other countries. Brazil ver;
In the cinematographic world it is common that in the dubbing of other countries some things end up being changed, including characters' names, in today's post I will mention some of these adaptations, but focus on Brazilian adaptations.
Elina
In Brazil, our dear Elina had her name changed to "Fada do Campo" which means "Field Fairy" or "Garden Fairy". It is not known for sure why this sudden name change occurred, but this is how Elina is known in Brazil, and many do not know her real name.
Catherine Beadnell
In Brazil, it was not his name that was changed, but her surname, Beadnell was replaced by "Brito", for being a more popular surname, and Beadnell would end up not captivating the public. How do you think that sounds? Catherine Brito!
Enchantress
The sweet Enchantress had her name replaced by "Rainha das fadas" which means "Fairy Queen". The reason for the change is also not known for sure, but there is a theory that by translating her name, which would be "feiticeira" implying that she would be a witch, which would make the children confused, because how would the queen have that name when the villain is Laverna.
Sunburst
Another character from the fairytopia franchise with a changed name haha. Sunburst had its name changed to "Fada Solar" which means "Sun Fairy". The name change may have been due to the fact that Sunburst is difficult to pronounce, and its translation would be "Reluzente" that wouldn't sound good in portuguese either.
Mariposa
As we know Mariposa is a name of Spanish origin, which means butterfly, but in Brazil Mariposa was literally replaced by "Butterfly" Because in Brazil Mariposa means Moth, so they preferred to translate it into English which is more beautiful and the children associated her with a butterfly that is more beautiful than a moth. [extra information: when Prince Carlos calling her, he calls "Linda Butterfly" linda means beautiful, nobody knows the reason why, maybe for make it clear that he has a crush on Mariposa.]
Catania
Catania is not a very common name in Brazil, so it was replaced by a similar and more common name, this name is "Catarina" this is a name of greek origin that means pure.
And these are the names of characters that were changed in the Brazilian adaptations, did you like this Fun fact? Check it on my Tumblr:

About the constellations and signs of Annika and Brietta in Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus.
Hello my readers, how are you? In today's Fun Fact, I did quite a bit of extensive research to make sure. It's about The constellations of Annika and Brietta, your signs and possible birthdays.
Annika
As we see in the film, Annika's Birthday takes place in a winter period, in Netherlands winter is from December to February, but the film probably takes place in the beginning of winter.
In its crown are two constellations, The Corona Borealis/Austrina, and the Square of Pegasus constelation. These two constellations are not there by chance. As I said, Annika's birthday is in December, and some December dates have the constellation Corona Austrina as the guide constellation. Dates: December 6th or December 15th. Her sign would be Sagittarius, in addition to being the sign of the month, it suits her a lot thanks to her strong, direct and sarcastic personality.
The Pegasus square is part of the month of January, which could also indicate that Annika's birthday is in January, but the Pegasus is symbolic of Annika's kingdom, so this is more likely just represent your home.
Brietta
Brietta's birthday is months ahead of Annika's, whereas in the scene where she shows Brietta's birthday, it's normal sunny weather, and whereas Briett's crown constellation is the Crux, her birthday could be in August or September. Dates: 26th and 28th of August, 7th, 9th, 16th and 18th September. Her sign is probably virgo, which goes a lot with the insecure, reserved and sweet personality of Brietta.
final notes
•About constellations having relationships with dates, I researched on a site called 88seiza, where you can find your constellation just by putting your birth date.
In some sources, the constellation of Annika's crown is Corona Borealis, but as Borealis and Austrina are extremely similar, and Austrina matches best with all the information about Annika, so stay in this stalemate.

Characters from Barbie movies who are/were disabled, you just didn't notice.
1• Elina
Elina is a fairy and was born without wings. Perhaps we hadn't noticed, that in the fairy world Elina would be considered physically disabled, as she was born without the member of her body that promoted her to move in the most normal way for fairies: flying. After all, Elina gained wings from the Enchantress, these wings would be your prostheses.
2• Princess Catania
Unlike Elina, Catania was not born physically disabled, but her disability was due to an accident, her wings breaking after the confrontation with Gwillion. Like other living things, when we break a part of the body, with the right care, when we got better we were able to move, which was not the case with Catania, who healed her wings, but could no longer fly, thanks to the anxiety and post traumatic stress, which left Catania without flying for 8 years. Your Pegasus Sylvie, was his only way to get around.

About the stars that appear in Barbie as the island princess.
In one of the scenes in the movie, where Tikka talks to Ro at night, Ro shows Tikka his stars, Sagi's, Tikka's, Ro's, and Azul's.
These stars are part of the Cassiopeia constellation. Sagi's star is "Segin", Tikka's star is "Ruchbah", Ro's star is "Navi", and the two stars of Azul are "Achird" and "Schedar".
Another fun fact, you can see beyond the Cassiopeia constellation the contractions of "Giraffe", "Andromeda" and "Cepheus".

Hello everyone! In this post I'll be talking about something that intrigued me for a while, it's about the archer in the Barbie Mariposa movie. It became popular in Fandom that that constellation represents Sagittarius, and I will prove this wrong!
• Orion or sagittarius
As a child, I saw the constellation of the archer, and imagined myself from the film of the Moth, years later I discovered that it was the constellation of Orion. But to my surprise, when researching, websites say the constellation in the film is Sagittarius. It doesn't make sense and I will prove it!
• Appearance
Can you see the difference between the real constellations and the movie? The constellation of the archer has nothing to do with the constellation of Sagittarius, and is almost identical to that of Orion.
• Movie reference
In the cave of reflections before speaking of the archer, Mariposa mentions two other constellations: Unicorn and the Crown. Soo, guess what? The constellation of unicorn is close to the constellation of Orion, it does not give Sagittarius.
In conclusion, the archer is really Orion. Orion may not be an archer but his constellation resembles one, which is why Mariposa calls him that. She also says that the archer is a navigator, there is no way a centaur (sagittarius) can be a navigator. Now whenever you ask which constellation is in the Mariposa movie, say Orion, not a Sagittarius.
This is not just a theory but a fact!

Since Sylvie takes on the job of Catania's wings by flying her to places where she will not be able to reach since she cannot fly (or rather she thought she couldn't for most of the movie), Sylvie is a Service Animal and the only representation of one in a barbie film.
