Yes I agree!! Mermaid tale animation is a good in between of old animation and the new animation. I would love to see them adapt that animation again

Hello everyone! Sorry I have been away for awhile. My life has been super busy and I just have not been feeling the best. I've had so much schoolwork and so many things have happened in my life that have really put me in a bad place. But something has helped and has always helped me, and that's Barbie movies. Watching Barbie movies puts me in a better mood and gives me hope for the future. So I encourage any of you when you are feeling down to watch a Barbie movie. I know it sounds weird and simple but it helped me so maybe it could help you too:)

In the older Barbie movies there were mainly white characters I think because the Barbie doll is originally white so they probably just stuck to that unfortunately. Yet in the newer movies (which aren’t as good) there is far more diversity. As for everyone being slim I think that was because they were trying to emulate the dolls. But now there are more curvy barbies and more curvy characters in the new Barbie movies ( which again the newer movies are so not as good as the old in my opinion). So it’s definitely good to see that Mattel is brining in different sizes and skin tones in not only movies/tv shows but in dolls as well. I hope this helps and welcome to Barbie wiki!!😁😁

I know Barbie and the Three Musketeers was originally going to be Barbie as Sleeping Beauty, but Mattel couldn’t get the rights to it because of Disney. So I would definitely love to see Barbie as sleeping beauty and a Barbie Rumpelstiltskin movie would be so cool!!!! But they MUST have the old animation.
