Is everyone staying up late?

I’d love to know what you are doing for this night.

For me, I’m at my Grandma’s House with a very large chunk of my family and we are all dancing to our favorite songs. This might take a while (and I might lose my voice from cheering so much). We’re all just waiting for midnight to come.

I wish everybody an amazing year of 2022. May you all be happy, healthy, and successful!

Oh my gosh! I’m getting so nostalgic because after making my last post I looked up the toy itself and I was finding a lot of other toys as well and remember that I once had his toy:

I told you I liked seahorses! I remember so well that I brought this seahorse everywhere to the point that it was getting annoying. Man I hope I find this toy.

For the next toy, I found this cute little girl:

(Like I said before I really liked mermaids)

So this toy definitely was selling after the release of A Mermaid Tale and I believe this was suppose to be Xylie but I don’t believe it because Xylie does not have pure pink hair.

So for this toy I vividly remember the day I got it. I arrived at my Grandma’s House to see my family and as I was walking into the kitchen to say hi to everyone I see that my Tía has toys 😮. These toys were colorful clamshells that you can wear as a bracelet and you can open to see a little character from the movie Mermaid Tale. She was passing them out to my cousins and sisters because she likes to give us toys once in a while and I received… a dolphin. It was a blue clamshell with a cute little blue dolphin (maybe suppose to be Zuma?) that had pink eye shadow. I have to say I was a little upset (I was young, I got easily jealous if I didn’t have the cool toys), I was upset because my older sister got a much cuter one which was a purple clamshell with mermaid in it. I tried to be happy with the one I had.

Later my Tía gave me another one which was a lighter blue clam with a yellow seahorse in it. I liked that one better just because I liked seahorses at that time.

So when my sisters and I want home we were all bragging about our new toys that we got them were fighting over if we could trade. By the end of that day, my older sister didn’t really want the toy she got so she gave it to me! So I was able to get the toy in today’s picture. I played with this little toy for a very long time and brought her everywhere.

As for the other clams I got, I played with them but later on I lost the seahorse and broke the dolphin so… yeah. Good times. That was a lot of information 😆. Once again I hoped you enjoyed this mini story, sorry if it was way too long.

So in my household, we are cleaning things up around the house and I have been stumbling upon a lot of my old toys. I actually would like to have this chance and talk about a few of them with you guys, specially about the Barbie toys I have. Starting off with this one:

Yes she is a mermaid (I really loved all the mermaid dolls growing up). I had this doll with me for a very long time, ever since I was a young kid. I played with her in the pool with my little sister and just had so much fun but I have not played with her in a long time. The reason her hair is messy is because of two reasons:

1. I never brushed her hair

2. She’s been in a drawer for a few years

You may have noticed that her her hair seems to be cut off a little on her right, well that is because when my little sister was young, she thought it would be a fun idea to use her new scissors and cut off a big chunk of her hair 😑.

Something else I also want to mention is that my little sister and I had a matching set, I got this doll and she had the other. Her doll was blonde with a pink and yellow tail but we don’t know what happened to that doll. It’s out there somewhere.
