That's because those are Cinematic/Theatrical Releases. These are only the movies for children that are (or were) direct to dvd. Anything at all Barbie can be discussed there, no limits as long as it is appropriate and not spam. Please direct all comments or disscussions about those there

And Delancey was going to be called Tess or Tessa (my name!) but was called mean princess Tessa so that may have been a name for Isla in that image or Delancey as a villian, who knows. Barbie was probably older, she was a teaching assistant. And her other friend was called a rockstar princess. Maybe Delancey if she was a main character was going to be a guitar player, like how Isla DJs.
The illumination one is not in the same continuity of these kids movies. My guess is it won't even have characters like Brooklyn, Teresa, the sisters. Like the live action one. It should be in the same vein as that.
@Passwd5678 you realize that's been a lot of the focus? With the Stacie movie, skipper movie, and all 4 in mermaid power? They haven't been neglected lately

I'll ask the other admin later but it just makes sense because it is not going to be in the same continuity. Barbie and the Rockers: Out of this World is on that wiki because of that. And movies like Masquerade Madness and Jammin in Jamaica. Besides, whats so hard about going to a nearly identical wiki?
And hey, if it does turn out looking literally like Dreamhouse Adventures or something then it probably will go here but I think there is an 80% chance its jjust going to be a watered down version of the 2023 film. The Barbieland concept.
@Jstnlg2020 Barbie 2023 was never allowed to be posted here because it was for adults. In the same vein, the new one will get talked about it too since it is mainstream. There is a huge difference in the interests of people who are fans of literal children's movies and series, and people who watch mainstream theatrical releases. When it comes out its probably going to be immensely popular so theres no need to flood this message board when there's another one meant for anything, and more specifically the adult/collecting side of Barbie.
What if the berry Elina ate revealed her true self was destined to be a Sea Pixie/Sea Butterfly? she was destined to belong in both worlds. This means she becomes a fairy on dry land, and a mermaid when in water. These aren't merfairies since they are dwarfed and don't transform. We see the species in the toyline. Mattel could have used this opportunity to explain that species for the toyline better, all abotu marketing. And like the little girl at the beginning of the movie, and I assume a Sea Butterfly is the aquatic offshoot of Mariposa's species. And this way she could be with Nori whenever she wanted! How would you feel about that movie twist?

I remember an article with them trying a new approach to Barbie's voice, they wanted a younger, freshier voice to make Barbie a teenager not a young adult. Someone like Blair Willow was younger and less mature or independent than say Elina, or the Barbie that is a role model to Kelly or an actress in Fashion Fairytale. Blair has a parent and was in school. So that was a new direction to try to have a trendier, teenage type voice in the Barbie movies that had more modern themeing. But due to popular demand, Kelly Sheridan was brought back. Unfortunately we know they went back to this concept of a more youthful, teenage sounding actress because Kelly Sheridan is no longer Barbie R.I.P
A sleeping beauty movie was planned and there is a short animation test promo but they ended up only making a video game
