I believe these are the official photos of the new dolls for the upcoming Barbie: Princess Adventure Movie
I went a long time wanting to see the movies but didn’t get around to watching them till around a year ago. I honestly enjoyed and found them to be very nostalgic of the early 2000s for me.
My absolute favourites from the listed above are Princess Charm School and Rock N Royals! I really enjoyed them the first viewing and always will.
Hi! I have recently also been trying to find new hobbies.
I would say Barbie is quite an active person. I’ve been trying to do at least one thing every day which includes being active like taking a walk, kicking a ball around, doing some yoga or stretches.
I’ve gotten into gardening quite a bit and I want to start a fairy garden because I think they look really magical and just beautiful.
You could try setting a challenge to read a new book every week or month depending on your reading pace. Maybe find a new tv or movie collection to watch. I sometimes try horror movies marathons or of course, a Barbie movie marathon.
I’m not quite sure what else to suggest. Oh, I recently started buying a magazine and getting the issue every month once it’s released. Just something interesting and fun to read and collect.
Hope you’re doing well and thank you for the great posts.
The most recent barbie movie I watched was barbie in a starlight adventure which is always so breathtaking for me and one of my favourites.
Its been a really difficult time for everyone, due to covid 19 and I agree that Barbie movies are such a god send in times like these because they’re just so fun and positive and magical. A really incredible escape from reality.
Im looking forward to hearing news about the new movie and hoping for a release date soon.
Hope you’re doing well!
Update: Today I read that the movie could possibly be a Dreamhouse Adventures special and not a standalone movie. I’m hoping it is standalone as I’d like to see the movie series continue again. People are speculating that it may be a special due to the characters being from Dreamhouse Adventures but that could just be because that’s what we’re now familiar with, and they’ll be using the characters we’ve come to know and love in future movies movies? I don’t know. Hopefully know more soon.
I believe these are the official photos of the new dolls for the upcoming Barbie: Princess Adventure Movie
After extensive researching (because I have nothing better to do) I found these articles featuring news about the Barbie: Princess Adventure movie and I think this pretty much confirms that it will be announced at the kidscreen summit this year. I found this magazine you can read online for free and it says clearly ‘Pre Kidscreen’ which I’m guessing is linked to the 2020 Kidscreen summit. It mentions Barbie: Princess Adventure being developed by Mattel and Mainframe Studios and this is really exciting because it’s our first barbie movie in so long!
I’ve been trying to find more information about the new movie but news hasn’t really surfaced yet. I tried tracing some details on this poster and it led me to the Kidscreen summit 2020 so I’m guessing it could possibly be announced there which I believe is on the 9th of February.
Looks and sounds incredible. We’ve all been waiting such a long time for a movie and...wow. So happy right now.
Really missing the movies right now. It must have been magical, waiting for the trailer and then finally getting to see it. I believe a movie came out every single year, or almost and then just abruptly stopped after dolphin magic. I just don’t understand it because I love the movies so much. Really hoping this is just a hiatus and that the movies haven’t been scrapped altogether *sighs*
The storyline reminds me of the Disney movie, Life-Size. I don’t know if you have seen it before, or even heard of it, but the storyline sounds exactly the same or very similar. It’s a novelty. It doesn’t take her very seriously and I don’t think I like that.
I have read quite a few articles about it, about how apparently, the storyline follows barbie being kicked out of a ‘doll’ world and it just seems to be mocking Barbie and not taking her character seriously? I also cannot really relate to Margot Robbie, even though I’m sure she is wonderful in every other movie.
I’m not really interested in seeing any live action movies based on her. I really adore the animation so much more and would rather watch Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures any day.
It actually upsets me that there will be a live action and I think I’m going to avoid it but I’m not sure.
Barbie isn’t like that. Not to me, anyway. She isn’t silly or a joke. She isn’t self obsessed or only into materialistic things and she certainly isn’t in some kind of fake doll make belief world. I know she isn’t a real person, but in my mind, she sort of is. She is kind and incredible and just lives an average life with her family and every day brings something new for her.
I feel like the movie is going to portray her as something she isn’t.
Should definitely make it. I would love to see Barbie as a pirate.
I think a pirate movie would be great. Thats such a good idea and I haven’t thought of that before. I would like to see a dreamhouse adventures movie also. I think that would be really cool.
I really love Rock ‘N Royals. It’s one of my favourites and felt very similar to the Disney Camp Rock movies.
I also liked Princess and the Popstar. God, I feel so nostalgic now. Times have changed so much and nothing is really about being a princess anymore. Even Disney seem to have abandoned the Disney princess and don’t make new ones anymore.
I would also like to see more like Fashion Fairytale and Barbie with her sisters. I really enjoyed a great puppy adventure.
I honestly enjoy every movie that has been made. It could be about anything. The most recent movies seem to focus less on romance and more on barbie finding herself and spending time with her family. I think I would like to see a Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures: The Movie. Or maybe just a casual movie about barbie in her hometown, Attending school and her home life whilst juggling a YouTube vlog or online career (as she does have a real life vlog on YouTube).
My my heart longs for the princess movies. They were so magical and always take me into a place where I feel content. Sad to look back, how times have changed and nothing will be the same again.
