It's Good
Quick question though, why didn't anyone or Brooklyn say "Guess I'll just have to star in my own movie?"
Average movie. This movie was more about friendship than about Teresa. Watching it I didn't feel like the movie was about her. Too many songs. The movie about Stacie also had a lot of songs, but it was better. I would have preferred more character interactions instead of songs. I was disappointed, there were no sisters Barbie and Ken, and they were supposed to be. This information appeared on IMDb.
@SunnyMalibu both Stacie and Teresa movies were musical.
I didn’t see it
It was average. It's to bad they didn't include the viewers in the viewers.
@SunnyMalibu I agree. While I understand Ken can't be in every movie (I mean, he coooouuuullld......... 🤨), it would be nice to have at least seen him or heard from him. It's almost like each time there's a new York story he's ignored (BCBD, BITT, Teresa). Why do the writers not want Ken in NY??
either way, I don't think Teresa took the spotlight. There were more songs about Barbie and Barbie than Teresa, more focus on the Barbies relationship than Teresa. She, like Stacie, felt like a supporting character in her own movie. I would like a movie or a show that doesn't focus solely on how the two Barbies are attached at the hip. I love Brooklyn, but anymore that's all these shows and movies are about: the Barbies singing about how much they love and care about each other. There are other plots to tell.
When I read in the description of the film that Emmie was supposed to appear, I had the feeling that Teresa would not be the main character in it. I have the impression that in productions where Ann Austen is not present, apart from ITT, I have the impression that the creators would like to make both Barbies a couple.
What do you think?
