Even if the calls come out now and Mattel heeds to them, from what I've seen from them till date, they won't revert to the "classic" Barbie anytime anywhere soon!!I I hate to break to you, but with Disney re-visiting old/nostalgic 1950s-2000s entertainment assets by commissioning live-action films based on them like "The Little Mermaid" coming out this year, don't expect Mattel to follow them, rival or not!! Whether on-screen, merchandise/merch or on-grounds experiences like like live shows and theme parks; even with those, they've moved some over to "Monster High" for now! In doubt?! Head over to the link below for one of those ventures. That's why with the rise of streaming platforms, pirated websites hold this past films and productions - though you'll also see them on Amazon Prime Video, Netflix and Apple+. For the merch, I've got stores upon supermarket chains selling these - even from "Barbie in A Mermaid Tale".
Simply put, ever since the launch of "Barbie: Dreamhouse Adventures", they left behind the direct-to-DVD model to the history recordings like Wikipedia and right here Fandom and they're only focused on releasing media formats about Barbie, her friends and family on Netflix where you are, 9Go! in Australia and YTV in Canada.
