I would love to share my thoughts with you. So I chose Barbie: Epic Road Trip,It's a great movie, I loved the plot, the songs, and of course the choice was in our hands,I really liked the choice of main characters,But in my opinion, if it's an interactive movie, it would be nice if we choose the main characters. The elections were cool. I loved this movie, especially that it was available in all countries. And that for the first time the love of Barbie and Ken was taken seriously.
I was quite disappointed that they didn't really tell us more about the end of the movie, and left us in suspense. But don't worry, I believe that later they will reveal the sequel. And that's it, of course the other movies were also great (^^)
Definitely "Barbie Epic Road Trip". It's a pity that I can't select more options, because I would also select the movie Barbie and Chelsea and with Barbie and Skipper.
Totally lol (^^)
I actually really enjoyed Mermaid Power. I'm glad the movies are going for a simpler, more modern approach ^^
Oh yes! This movie was amazing! You so right! It's great that the Movies are very modern^^
ERT was my favorite... Then Princess Adventure and the Skipper movie. Least favorites: Chelsea and the Lost Birthday, Mermaid Power, and Big City, Big Dreams.
Oh yes! They were definitely good, I would appreciate it if you shared why the others were less your favorites
Mermaid Power was confusing and odd. Isla was turned into a shallow minor side kick rather than the interesting character she was in Dolphin Magic. So many weird questions... Why did they automatically think to give the humans powers? Why the heck were they chosen? Isla met Malibu before, but she never met Brooklyn... It couldn't have been as silly as "oh my goodness, the are TWO Barbies?! Whaaaaat?! I guess we have to give powers to both!! Aaaaand why not, let's give the sisters powers, too!" Plus, the characters talked slower. Like their spoken dialogue was actually at a slower speed. It felt geared towards really little kids.
Big City Big Dreams was so out of character for Barbie/Malibu. Fame and fortune were never goals of her, so the entire forced arc of her wanting to be a famous singer just because someone shared the same name as her was so out of the blue. On that note, I didn't care much for It Takes Two for that reason. Moving the whole way across the country away from friends and family? Deciding that after the summer program that she just wasn't coming home? What about her best friends (esp. Ken) who were planning on her coming back? Kinda made me angry, thinking of how selfish and out of character Malibu was the whole time... We have a lot of threads here going over all the issues of B:ITT. To be honest, Brooklyn was written terribly in the series... But I loved her in ERT! She was funny and animated (personality wise)!
And I just wasn't a fan of the Chelsea movie... I'm not a huge fan of Chelsea in general (not like I don't like her, she's just my least favorite sister), so I had a personal bias going into it. But, what was up with the activities director? If you don't like your job that much, just quit! I liked the idea of "little kids able to do big things if you give them a chance", but why did that man harass her that much? It was just Chelsea he picked on!
Hmmm.. These are all good points. I agree.
What do you think?
