I like all the designs but I agree that Malibu is more immature these days, which makes sense since she is a teenager after all. She is more loud, goofy and naive than she was before the Dreamhouse Adventures era. Like in A Fashion Fairytale, she's having relationship and career trouble so she jets off to Paris to get away from her problems--without even asking her parents. And in other movies she was taking her sisters on vacations without parental supervision, so she seemed a lot more mature back then.
But I don't necessarily think Skipper is more mature than Barbie, since Skipper can be immature too (in Dreamhouse Adventures).
