What movie wasn't worth the hype? For me it was Princess Adventure, I saw some clips for it and thought it would be good, but I didn't really like it in the end.
These are your opinions and you don't have to be entitled to mine or anybody elses! :)

I think the movie is solid overall, though I do wish we got to see more of Amelia's side of things. Barbie's story is well told, though we don't see as much of hers. I would say that maybe it should've been longer, but it's 72 minutes long. Despite the other Netflix Barbie movies (Barbie: Dolphin Magic, Barbie & Chelsea: The Lost Birthday, and Barbie: Big City, Big Dreams) barely clocking in at over an hour, they tell their stories much better. I will say that at least the movie has an entertainment factor that at least makes it fun to watch.
How come you didn't like Princess Adventure? I thought it was a fun movies. I had lost interest in the movies somewhat when they took a break from releasing them, but Princess Adventure made me interested again.
I'm optimistic when it comes to Barbie movies but I still haven't seen The Lost Birthday all the way through.
I was hyped to find out 2 movies were coming out in 2021 cause that hadn't happened since 2017, but I ended up not being able to finish The Lost Birthday both times that I tried watching it.
I find the premise and villain boring, and the movie just doesn't appeal to me (but the movies are not aimed at me so i would be understanding if they made more movies like it).
If The Lost Birthday had been the first movie since 2017 then it would've been a bad comeback imo. I'm glad Princess Adventure came out first!
What do you think?
