I'm not so good at explanation, so it could get a bit confusing.
The So Called Official Series:
1. As of Dreamhouse Adventures, we have seen four puppies, Honey, Taffy, Rookie and DJ; a cat named Blissa and a mare named Misty. We saw in Barbie & Her Sisters In The Great Puppy Adventure that they got the pups when they visited their hometown, Willows. It does make sense. But what comes after, doesn't make any.
We learnt from The Great Puppy Adventure that Chelsea was a baby when the Roberts moved to Malibu. But in Dreamhouse Adventures' episode one (Welcome To The Dreamhouse!), Barbie said that she was eight years old when they moved to Malibu. As Barbie is shown to be seventeen and Chelsea is shown to be six, that means they have an eleven year age gap. So that means Chelsea wasn't even born when the rest of them moved to Malibu. It either means if it is not connected, or it is a mistake that the writers made. Barbie has also mentioned her grandmother many times in the series.
Barbie Vlogs was started in 2015, with early CGI models similar to The Great Puppy Adventure and in one of her vlogs, Barbie introduced Taffy as shy. Taffy was shy in the movies (including Puppy Chase) and show as well. And also, Dreamhouse Adventures is connected to the Vlogs, as in the vlog where Barbie and Ken had a dance battle, Barbie told her viewers about Ken's breakdancing skills and a bit of story from Spirit Week, an episode from Dreamhouse Adventures.
2. While playing Dreamhouse Adventures in Barbie Life app, I noticed that instead of Misty, Barbie's mare's name was Tawny. We all know Tawny was in Life In The Dreamhouse, and is different from Misty. Maybe they had two horses-- and I just didn't know, or it must be a mistake.
3. As of Magical Mermaid Mystery, we know that Dolphin Magic takes place after season one of Dreamhouse Adventures: Go Team Roberts! But in many of the early episodes, I noticed the pictures in the DreamCamper and Barbie's room were none other than those from Dolphin Magic.
4. While playing Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures (the game that is a available on Play Store), I opened Barbie's purple box and found stickers of characters from Video Game Hero. It could be a mistake, but if we look closely at Barbie's room in early Barbie Vlogs and Video Game Hero, the two are the same. So, Video Game Hero might be connected to Dreamhouse Adventures. And in Puppy Chase, we heard Chelsea say that cupcakes are her favorite. And in Video Game Hero (and Dreamtopia), it is obvious that Chelsea still has cupcakes as her favorite.
5. When I was looking at a picture of Barbie's room in Dreamhouse Adventures, I saw a picture of Renee and Teresa from Spy Squad. Might be an Easter egg, but hey, listen out. Barbie and Teresa performed gymnastics in Dreamhouse Adventures, while we saw some of Renee's gymnastic skills in Princess Adventure. And we already know the three were gymnasts in Spy Squad. Teresa mentioned both in Spy Squad and Dreamhouse Adventures that she is afraid of the dark. She still has her interests in technology. So, I think Spy Squad takes place after Dreamhouse Adventures, and the image might be an Easter egg.
6. We saw that the DreamCamper shown in A Puppy Chase is the same as the older one in Dreamhouse Adventures. Barbie says "Positive Attitude Changes Everything," the same saying she says in Barbie Vlogs and Dreamhouse Adventures. Skipper's personality remains pretty much the same in both, except she doesn't get airsick in Dreamhouse Adventures. Stacie and Chelsea's personalities too pretty much remain the same.
7. If The Great Puppy Adventure is really related to Dreamhouse Adventures, and the mistakes I pointed out are just mistakes, then the timeline must go like this:
Barbie & Her Sisters In The Great Puppy Adventure
Barbie & Her Sisters In A Puppy Chase
Barbie: Video Game Hero
Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures
Barbie: Dolphin Magic
Barbie Princess Adventure
Barbie & Chelsea: The Lost Birthday
Barbie: Big City, Big Dreams
Barbie: Spy Squad
